    In this video i unbox and put together the Swag offroad V3.0 portaband table. And install the Harbor Freight Baur Band Saw kit. This should limit my grinder and cut off wheel use down to a minimum. Looking forward to using it a lot on this new DIY longarm suspension setup i am starting to build.
    Harbor freight Baur band saw, is it worth it?

    *Worked perfectly right out of the box **MyBest.Tools** a nice compact bench bandsaw, that will work with 1/4 to 1/2 inch blades! First use was a joy, better quality than I expected for the price ! ! !*

    Harbor Freight sells a foot switch with an outlet on it. Plug that saw in and just step on it when you need to make a cut.

    I had heard of the Swag Kit. Thanks for the idea. That looks like the way to go. Really easy to remove the Bandsaw for other uses. Plus it looks great.

    That looks awesome! I’m always sweeping up the garage after we cut metal, and it’s just a mess.
    You may have Muddy Beards, but now you won’t have Black Boogers!! 😂❤️🐞

    That's slick. Man your right about the mess those cut off wheels make. That along is worth looking into another option.

    Nice video. Was going to go Milwaukee, but for as often as I use it I think Bauer will be fine. The miter will be, for my use, why I would buy this stand as opposed to building one.

      When you cut metal what speed do you have the dial? I keep mine at 3 or 4 for cutting metal. My Bauer blade is holding up great

      Nope, it was still working great. Decided to do a stretch, long arms and coil overs, and the 9” at the same time.

  • @Good-Enuff-Garage
    @Good-Enuff-Garage 4 роки тому

    ah shiet Ver 3.0 is much nicer than 4.0 that I just bought, I'm not even sure I can bolt up the HF Bauer band saw to it, I can't seem to figure it out, the back of the table don't go in to the slot on the saw fro support

    • @MuddyBeards4X4
      @MuddyBeards4X4  4 роки тому +1

      The 4.0 doesn’t for the harbor freight saw. You have to get the 3.0. It has the list of all the saws they fit on the website.

    • @Good-Enuff-Garage
      @Good-Enuff-Garage 4 роки тому +2

      @@MuddyBeards4X4 thanks, yeah I called them up, and one reasonable human being would only think that they get better with versions, ie 3.0 to 4.0 not more limited, this is totally my fault but I can't help but rant about it

    Hey just checking in, you posted this a year ago. Being that this Mount attaches the saw with only those two fence screws, have you had any durability issues with the way it is mounted? I'll be making my own table for the same saw, just wondering if I can use this design as a go buy, or if I should add another mounting point for durability. Thanks for the video.
