Thank you again. Thumbs up .
This is why slinger were so vastly used in antiquity. Cheap, mobile, efficient, deadly
Best find on youtube, wish you did more long form content though! Stay the path witcher 🐺
Thank you my friend! Truly appreciate it, I know the long form content is something I would like to do more down the road…once I figure out editing better 😂
Thanks I love slingers great thanks for the effort in this video
Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed it. They are one of my favorite historical military units as well.
As a Geologist, I can rock with this.
Ha nice!
you're a king for the OG total war music
From those Greek Holly Fires 🔥🔥🔥 ... Rome made light posible for all human kind
Thracian slingers played a significant role in reducing Sparta's military dominance in ancient Greece.
I made a couple of slings many years ago and can attest to their power and range. My favorite ammo was old C-cell batteries.
Unrelated but Rome total war was such a killer game lol cool video too!
Dude I know! It’s so amazing haha
I love you, I love your channel, I love the rope, and apparently I love my newfound enthusiasm for Greece.
Thank you for the daily kind words 😁
Shout out to the work ethic. Looking warrior fit
Jeeze!
That's crazy!
Awesome channel!
Forget Keanu, this is the new modern Jesus lookalike now
😂
Compound bow arrows and a horse were the best of ancient military tactics. The mongols and Huns were a scary bunch
Dope content
Thanks for that my dude
Your vids are very interesting
Thank you! Glad you think so
“THAT'S NOT FAIR! THEY'VE GOT ROCKS! ALL WE'VE GOT ARE THESE MACHINE GUNS”
Same story goes for Kaszubian people in medieval Poland. Kids were taught bow shooting, and meal was high on tree.
Very cool! I did not know that piece of history
Dang Jesus you ripped😂
😂😂
Great video! Keep them coming, Dash-Man!
That dudes an actual Viking
Dudes chest hair is on point.
I’ve had some doubts about how a slung stone could have killed Goliath. That doubt is now forever gone. Thank you!
Love your channel, ya living the dream. Good on ya
Did you hear the crack when he loosed the rock? Now imagine a hundred of these guys on the battlefield all firing at same time.
I love the fact that many slingers made their own stones with lead shot and carved inscriptions into them, much like how modern ordnance workers in the military do when placing them on aircraft.
Humans never really change.
Kind of the Welsh Longbowmen of their day . . .
For sure! Welsh longbow-men tend to get overlooked (as do slingers sadly) just forces of destruction
David was pretty good with one, is what I heard👍👍
Hell yeah!! It's terrifyingly awesome! Hands down my favorite "ancient" weapon.
For sure! One of my top favorites of all time
I like the subtle Rome TW music there ;)
Love how you became a great father, chase her always #siguele a donde siga
Thank you for this, I'm educated now 👍
David vs Goliath takes a very different tone when you learn that David brought the ancient world equivalent of a fuckin GUN into their duel
Stone Slingers were deadly… cheap easy weapons to create ..unlimited ammo.. just need lots of practice.. you can kill anything just about… even lions..
I don't think I've EVER seen a guy and wished I looked like him. That said, definitely wish THAT skin was in the market 😲
Haha thanks man, paid DLC
As someone who lives in Spain close to the Balearic Islands, I had no idea Greece is so close to me.
Lol. He pinned a correction in the comments
You make me want to work on my beer-belly. Thanks!
Most Welcome 💪
Slings even existed in the medieval period. Mostly see sling staves tho. Not 100% on how common they were tho.
