I sheared off a plastic post on my main shaft. This allowed the upper rotor assembly to vibrate. You might have had this happen with one of the post (there are two). I ended up replacing the main shaft. I just posted the video. Or, it might be a loss of connect buckle, part S107G-04. Without this flight is very unstable.
hi guys if your s107g is flying round in circles, unscrew the two top screws holding the upper blade assembly. Remove the 2 buckles, unscrew two screws that holds the upper blades, and you will probably find that one pin of the upper plastic part of the inner shaft that drives the upper blades is broken, just replace the part and reassemble again.
I started having the same issue after several hard crashes. Tail vibrations and non stable flight. Hinge pin of top rotor appeared broken. Replace/fix it to be ok.
I have the same problem, not as bad as yours which also happened after a mild crash (I have crashed it many times before and a lot worse). I too can't see anything obviously wrong but if I find out the cause i'll let you know.
I am having the same problem and after comparing it to another identical helicopter we knew for sure it was a problem either with the balancer of the top pair of wings. Something is prob broken so you just need to keep looking until you find something bent or snapped and then replace it.
My S107G did the same thing after a light crash, it started hovering erratically, around in a circle, but not the TBE. The fix is very easy. What you need is the main rotor "inner shaft". It's only about $2 at amazonDOTcom or you can buy a repair kit for about $7 and it'll include the inner shaft. All you need is the plastic part on top of the shaft. There's two little pegs that stick out and that is what's broken on your helicopter. Loosen the two screws and it'll slide off the metal shaft.
i had the same problem. My heli was flying in the same circular path so i got disapointed and stoped playing with it.One day i tried to fix it when i realized that the balancing bar (the bar above the top blade) was missing a thing that keeps it in place. So look at the balancing bar for missing parts.Hope i helped .PS sry for my bad english
Have the same problem with my son's. The piece that broke is subtle, and the fix is shown in another UA-cam video. Search for "Syma S107G main shaft repair on the Top Rotor"
easiest way to tell if this is it. It will fly for a few seconds, when you try to maneuver at all it will become unstable, blades will hit each other then it will crash. I recommend to stop flying till you fix this part or you will damage more parts. Its a easy and fairly cheep fix. hope this helps. If not then you have a similar problem as my last post. Ill find a solution for that one and post it
Get a repair kit from amazon. I found mine cheap. In the middle of my repair but jot takes patience and a good memory to put it back together . Lol that's why I'm here looking
If your top blades pivot up and down the long way then its the top black T piece. Yes one pin is broke. It should only rock the small way on the blades. Im having a similar vibration... the whole heli vibrates in flight. It flies normally but shakes like a crack head suffering from withdraws... I have taken everything apart and everything appears normal.. This all started after putting larger and heavier blades on. OOPS, Don't do this
Everyone who has the same thing you have some gears broken. Buy a new gear set at Ebay: /itm/New-Gear-Set-for-Syma-S107G-S105-RC-Helicopter-Spare-Parts-S107-09-S105-09-/290850215918?pt=US_Character_Radio_Control_Toys&hash=item43b80617ee
check to box it came in, if it says S107 the its a fake one, If it says "S107G" then its real. the fakes have sub-standard batteries, among other problems. I have 2 fakes myself, I was suckered by a chinese seller on Ebay. don't buy these from Ebay they're probaby all fake. one possitive thing about these knockoffs is that they can be used to fix the real ones the parts are interchangeable.
Thanks for the ebay link and part number TeaTime. Besides the broken pin a great product.
