Our last sail of the season! It’s been full of the highest highs and a couple of lows sprinkled in there for good measure. Who’s been here since our last sail of last season from Grenada to Bonaire? 🇧🇶
My wife and I are in our mid 50s and we both have cancer. She's doing okay for now, but I'm struggling. I grew up sailing and we had hoped to retire at 55, buy a boat, and see the world. No chance now so we love your videos and watch them together. You bring such joy to our lives and we talk about how wonderful you are together. Thanks for bringing us with you.
Thank you for sharing your story with us. It’s heartwarming to know that our videos bring you both joy during this challenging time. We’re sending you all our best wishes and positively 😊 Hopefully our paths will cross one day!
I'm sorry to hear that. I am doing research on what might be causing it. Do you recognise what could cause it for both of you? Did you had any specific diet for instance? Thank you in advance.
From what I see on your videos, the two of you are beautiful people. You are living an absolute dream and the things you have accomplished to be where you are, are amazing. Can't wait to see what happens next. Cheers.
I don't know how many people would appreciate the effort it takes to cut and edit B-roll footage to make an interesting story, but well done, and a well-deserved pat on the back for putting the effort into making a well-structured storytelling of your adventures. Your bloody doing it 🙂

You are awe-inspiring and although I wont be able to do it , it so real and full of epic reality I want to just be there. You all will have the most epic memories for the rest of your life.

Thank you so much for your kind words! We never expected to reach this level of support, but we’re grateful for every moment of this journey. Can’t wait to share our refit upgrades with you!
What a mix of total happiness and sadness about last sail of season. Cant wait for this chapter seeing what Mexico brings and the upgrades. I have had the best man in my life since i was 16 and get along greatly. its nice to know its not out of fashion! ALASKA!?!? BURRRRR...

Your videos just keeping getting better and better! I can imagine how ready you and Teulu are for a well-deserved break. That last sunset was absolutely stunning! Have a couple of tacos and drinks on me ☺
Thank you for the kind words! We’re definitely looking forward to some relaxation and tacos after all the hard work. Glad you enjoyed the sunset, I think that it was the best I have ever seen 😊
Thank you two for a wonderful season fully of the most amazing episodes. You deserve a bit of a R & R so take the time you need to refresh. 110k of us will be standing by. Cheers!
What a journey! From Becca tearing up in the car, after hearing the news that they got the boat, to running in the harbour in reverse. You two have come so far. Glad to have been on this adventure with you. Loved every minute of it.
Looking forward to seeing the upgrades promised in the next haul out. I mean there's only so much beautiful scenery, wonderful experiences and just bloody doing it that the human mind can tolerate - Y'know! 😆
I've been watching your videos with my wife in the hopes that she can become more open to the possibility of embarking on a journey like yours. I'm happy to say that although she is still afraid of leaving behind our "regular" life, she is becoming more open to the possibility of one day doing something similar. I've been watching your videos from the beginning and have found your journey to be very inspirational. I eagerly anticipate your videos every week, and you never fail to inspire. Thank you for all the effort you both put into sharing your journey :)
I'm so glad to hear that our journey is inspiring you both! Taking that first step can be scary, but it sounds like you're making great progress. Keep nurturing that openness, and who knows where it will lead!
@@TeuluTribe yes many a problem solved with the old stick trick . Great video this evening really made my day watching your adventures. Always something to look forward to . X
Your riding the Humboldt current north one thing that really helps on shorthand long passage making is easy at hand food , we used to make up sandwiches and jugs of 1/2 strength lemonade. We would freeze some of the sandwiches and some lemonade, several big thermos of hot tea , it was a a savior in rough weather the worst is to have one of you to get dehydrated. Good snow skiing goggles clear or yellow work well in heavy spray or rain otherwise your eyes will get quite sore. Really enjoy your videos !
I've been watching you 2 from the beginning. I'm really enjoying your journey.. Sailing brothers on Sunday and you guys on Monday. Coark and cheese 😂. Working class v's middle class.
I hardly ever comment and just joined the channel recently, having been with Delos, SLV, Doodles, Miss Lone Star and Sophisticated Lady, from the beginning, a decade ago, but a tremendous video, understated, simple agenda, wonderful piano. Can't go wrong. I'm sure you will be up there with the leaders in a year or so. Just keep going. Much appreciated. Thanks.

Great episode and beautiful sunset..!! Yes it's pretty tough winching up the dinghy by hand. Actually there is a way you can use the windlass disconecting the top part from the chain jipsey and pasing the halyard arround the Port winch on the mast to get a better angle and right rotation. Good luck with your refit
all of the compliments you have received thus far are well deserved and all I can say is ditto. For the problem with your skeg may I suggest getting a short piece of SS tube about the same inside radius as the skeg. Cut the tube in half lengthwise. Mount one end at the bottom edge of it were it meets the rudder and let it hang down a few inches over the gap. Let it into the skeg with a bit of grinding, epoxy and screw it into place and then a few layers of FG and fair and paint. The same idea could also use a rod or even angle iron.
