Not sure if you have seen it, but there is a limit; 40 per day. After you hit 20 or so a dialog pops up to let you know the daily limit. Thus, 365 x 40 would be 14,600 which would of course be more than enouh. It's just not "unlimited" like Audio Blocks supposedly is (which BTW has much less quality music IMHO).

I’m loving these unpolished tutorials of your workflow. It’s always interesting to see other people’s editing style/workflow. Also when I discovered that audition trick it changed the way I live life.

Up and coming and indie producers need to be mindful that their score isn't bigger than the scene. See that all the time.

Thank you SO MUCH for suggesting artfilm because it always seems like music is such an important part of a short film which it is, but finding the right music to set the right tone for a clip isn't easy, which is why finding the right music can make a GREAT different in your film. So thank you so much, I just checked it out and it looks like I'm gonna buy it so once again THANK YOU for making my skits better 🙏🙌❤

I've been using music from SmartSound for years. Their prices treat both the artist and end user with respect, the work is very high quality, the terms are reasonable and include all the social media stuff you'd expect, and the number one reason is their proprietary software: Inside it you tell it how long you need the music and it intelligently (in my experience - not talking AI here) edits to length a version of the original song within a few frames typically, but sometimes a second or so, to fit. Plus you can get mixes for VO, without percussion, as "big" as possible, etc., all with the same "song" and software. Pretty amazing.

For the countryside drone footage, I didn't feel too much one way or another with the first piece of music. With the second music sample, I definitely expected a story with a small-town feel about it-had a wholesome and/or adventurous feel. With the last music sample, there was definitely an ominous vibe to it. The scenery felt isolated and lonesome.

Overuse of music is also a problem for many filmmakers. Using no music or silence is just as powerful of an emotional impact. The Westworld to Yuma is a prime example of not needing music. If fact it completely destroyed the tension of that scene.

Awesomre video, I definitely try to take music into account when editing, in fact the music and sound is just as important to drive emotional impact (its the heart and soul of your video). I did not know about adobe audition tool for lengthening or shortening a music clip for timing to fit! Ill definitely check that process out as its an area ive struggled with when editing music tracks in other ways!

Audition respects any cuts in a music clip when using remix, so if there's a specific section you want, just add cuts before and after what you want to keep and use remix on the clips before and after that section.

My employer's taste doesn't excite me. Lot's of "Business Man Wins The Meeting" kind of stuff. So, I just cut ads to whatever song I want, finish my edit, find a song my employer likes with a similar tempo, make small adjustments where needed, and ship it. I cut an ad for a kids' camp to "Glass House" by Kaleo. Damn, I wish we could have used that one.

Check out Audionetwork.com. They have a free Premiere Pro extension that lets you search for music from their website in PP! How awesome is that?!
Best of all, you can download tracks to test out inside PP, and then once you’ve picked which tracks you like, you can buy them. The extension automatically replaces the lower quality preview version you used with a high quality .wav file.
Did I mention the preview tracks don’t have an audio watermark???? It’s nice. I like them, and I think they’re reasonably priced.
