Weeping willow guitar has the Jerry solo for this one. I find it challenging. Great American music hall is a cool place. It is right next to Mitchell Bros which is fun of a different sort right by Ch8na town in S.F.

JEFF, watch a lot of 80s Grateful Dead concerts of the JAMS sections because Bob Weir uses very unusual chord voicings during the JAMs sections which you can make lessons about these chord voicings

That guitar is awesome 👌. I'd like to have one without the F holes if they make such a thing but I'd still take that one if not 😊.

Great video and channel! It’s cool you focus as much, if not more, on Bob Weir’s underrated parts, which, at least to my relatively untrained ear, can sometimes be a bit hard to distinguish from the other band members’ parts. By the way, I wonder how many B&G Guitars you’ve inspired others to buy? I plan on ordering one in the hopefully not too distant future.

Hey thanks! I can't recommend B&G enough. If you do get one, here's an affiliate link I have: bit.ly/jwcrossroads
Eventually I'm hoping they'll send me a Private Build!

Hi - Thanks! There's a lot to digest here but everything is broken down so well. I'm trying to master the CAGED system but I find it so hard to play the C and G shapes as barre chords. I'm trying but not making much progress. Would it be better to just concentrate on the triads within those shapes instead ?

Yeah, those ones are tough to barre down and I usually don't. Try just playing the middle 4 strings of them. With the G shape you still have to barre down 3 strings but with the C shape there ends up being a finger on each of the 4 string so no barre needed.
