I've found bass lines like this are great for learning how to be consistent in general playing, timing/technique etc. Also I do hear my nails are helping people, but I hadn't even thought of that... I just enjoy painting them!

@@scottysunday Yes, that was landmark album that really sounded ahead of its time by a few years. Hard to believe they started recording it in mid '88. It really has to my ears a quintessentially early 90's sound.
