  • As I have explained in other chapters, power and explosive force (RFD) are two different qualities. In this video I explain how to assess power and discern if we are stimulating it. The size of the grip can limit the speed at which we pull, condemning the pulling power, that is why I propose the power deficit test to calculate up to what size of grip we could be stimulating the pulling power and that it is not the grip force that is the limiting factor. With this test we will be able to know if our objective is to improve traction power based on what size grip we would be following, something very important when choosing the type of strip on the campusboard.
