Thank you so much Lisa sometimes depending on who writes the pattern it can be very challenging or not written very well. I had a really tough time with the baby blanket and had to frog more than 6 rows and redo them and invent my own ending. I really prefer to watch and use video tutorials and then once I understand it I use the pattern to refresh my memory for the pattern repeat parts. Thanks for watching, sharing and commenting.
thank you Sandra, I had a real tough time with this pattern and had to unravel alot of it and finally gave up and decided to do my own thing for the last few rows. I will most likely gift this to one of my aunt's overseas.
Such pretty projects. I love the circle blanket. I did one a while back and it was super super wonky haha. No way i could do one as beautiful as yours. Thank you for sharing all your awesomeness. Hugs and happy saturday!
@@PandaMoniumExpress aww thanks. Mine was wonky too but I am happy I stopped following the pattern and fixed it. Usually circle patterns need a slow increase and this ome had decreased too much in one of the rows which made it turn inwards like a basket. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Love the herrschner's kit you completed. I bought a different one of their kits for the baby blanket I made for my 10th grandchild who will be born on Wednesday. I struggled in a couple places with how the pattern was written, but found that if I read over it a few times before starting each row, I could sort out what they meant, even it that wasn't how it was written. LOL The joy of crochet!
That is great Denise. I found a few errors in this pattern for the baby blanket kit. I am glad your came out well. Thanks for watching and commenting. Thanks for the compliment.
Thanks, yes I fixed it and frogged back 6 rows until it was flat and then decided to do my own thing for the final rounds. I decided to not show it on video until I fixed it and it was finished. Thanks for the compliment...thanks for watching and commenting.
Thank you so much Rena for the lovely comment and compliments. I was very surprised with how nice that baby yarn was to work with and how soft and light it is. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Thanks so much @mamaggear for watching and commenting. I hope you are feeling better and continue to feel better. No worries I know you've had and still have alot on your plate. I need to work on the shawl for November soon I haven't forgotten. ;). Thanks for the compliment, it's very nice of you. (there are 2 video tutorials for how to make that top in case you want to make one with some of your cotton yarn.)
You use the little wooden piece to feed the yarn through while working it up 👍🏻 glad you like the muffin ❤beautiful blankets! Brenda has a coupon code from now until October 11th MICHI22 (all cap letters) for 10% off
@@Crochetedbymichi oooh I haven't used the cakes yet, great tip. Can you make a short showing that please? I have only used other thin yarns and thought that just held the strands together at one end, lol. Thanks for the gift, tip, sharing the coupon code and for watching and commenting...and for the compliment. :) Thanks for all you do and I hope you reach your 2K goal soon and surpass it!!
Yes I agree it was. I'm sure yours was beautiful. What colors did you use and what yarn did you use to make it? Did you post a picture on BagoDay Crochet's Facebook page? I can go look at it if you did. Thanks for the compliment and thanks for sharing, watching and commenting.
Hi Nessa your blankets are beautiful! I enjoy seeing all the things you are making or have made! Maybe you could do a crochet blanket make along sometime. Something to think about 😊you look like you are feeling better I hope so !
@@racenelasater aww thank you Racene, that is very sweet of you. Maybe one day but for now a CAL is alot of work and there are many out there too. I am still working on Tiffany Hansens blanket CAL for 2024 are you working on that too? I can also show different blanket kits or blankets I plan to work on and if folks want to crochet along at the same time they are welcome. I may be starting Ophelia Talks Winsmere CAL soon but with a different yarn color pack of hers. I was doing my informal swatch along but I stopped it due to lack od participation and all the extra work I was doing for it. Thanks so much for your compliments, for watching and commenting. :) I am still feeling very tired and trying to catch up.
Very nice I will watch it if you make it. Which Stenli did you win this time? Thanks for the compliment Michelle and thanks for watching and commenting.
Beautiful Nessa. Love all your makes! Love the Baby Blanket. 😍They are wrong about no one not having issues with the pattern. I bet they have. I LOVE the Hipster Cotton Top. Is that pattern very difficult?
Thanks @MiMiLovesCrochet no the top pattern is pretty simple once you get the stitch pattern figured out. The body is all done in one piece until you get to the armholes. Then you have two front sections plus the back panel those get seamed and the sleeves get made separately, folded in half, seamed and then joined to the top. I had a few issues with how things were written initially but Premier has a video for the pattern and Cinnamon stitches also made a video for the same pattern so you can view those too. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I also bought a baby blanket kit that made no sense. There was not enough yarn to make it. Emailed them but never heard back. Just going to use the yarn for amigurumi.
Vickie, I called them and left a message, they have a special prompt number you press when you call in to ask about the patterns. Which kit was it? I'm sorry you had that experience too with it. I didn't meet gauge but I also didn't run out of yarn but I had bought some extra yarn in those colors since I had seen it on sale and in case I liked it. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I looked working with their 2 ply baby yarn. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Nice makes. I’m envious of those who can follow a pattern. I’m a basic crocheter. Even though I’ve crocheted a while. Beautiful job, Nessa.
