This quest is true beauty and here I was thinking anomaly quests will never be good. Just to be proven wrong immediately.
Man i swear monsters be doing input reads to avoid counters or guard charges sometimes, like i had a shagaru earlier who missed me like 3 times in a row when i was right in front of him when trying to strongarm, like bruh i know u can hit me.
They are shy sometimes ;)

They are 100% university graduates and have played too many fighting games to be able to achieve this level of input reading
It's more like arena reads. They are programed to identify damage coming towards them and will dodge that damage if they aren't occupied with an action. As a SAED CB Main, you can see this occur frequently when the monster is standing still doing nothing, and then will jump out of the way of your SAED, and still just stand still until they get ready for another attack.
The monster on rise are so fast, that if you keep still they will miss the atk like 50% the time
As an IG main, I deal damage by proving to others that the ground is a concept.
It’s good to see a Switch-Axe user cleaving through elder dragons like a fucking BUZZSAW.
Wrong weapons but you enjoy the chaos so that’s fine lol

I find Risen Shageru a bit harder with hammer, it's just the knockdown into the double laser that can cart me, but you get 50 dragon res if you use the blue scroll with valstrax armor, which can save a cart or two.

If you want to play a tank build these days, I'd recommend lance! The new guard decoration isn't necessarily that strong for pure DPS (unless you cheese it with the gust crab), but it is SO much fun, and makes it outright easy to tank, and to stun the monsters, and to exploit every little opening for damage.

Is that a legit Quest? As far as I can tell, you cant get 3 or 4 Monster Anomaly Investigations in Arena maps like Infernal Springs or the Tower. If this is legal tho, then this is like hitting the Jackpot.
From game perspective is legal.

Have no idea, if I remember correctly from even World custom quests is from mods and you can't invite someone who don't have the same mod.
PC have anomaly editor with legal check so you can't make illegal quest anyway.
Is this on switch? I've been looking for a quest like this as long as it isn't a modded quest. So far the best I got is Crimson Valstax, Apex Mizu and Velkhana. I've only ever seen a single 4 monster roll quest and it was an A3.

Weakness Icon Indicator mod, so you don't need check what is effective against every monster every single time if you can't memorize it.

Depend how you see anomaly investigations because from game perspective it's completely normal one you can get.
@@JustSuzu Oh it’s definitely a custom quest and I think Nintendo mentioned that there were some problems with safe corruption (relating to custom AQs) but hopefully you’ve got back ups, Funquest though!!!
@@mshenay on world it was easy to get what was custom and what not. But now with whole anomaly things this go spicy and confuse. So now we have editor that allow us make legal quests that are... Questionable at best.
Pure custom could be if all 4 dragons was Risen or all additional monsters was Apex.

At the beginning CB was a joke due to how awful SAED hitbox didn't exist. But after patches and new skills CB is fun. Sure you can now hit with SAED that have the power of thousands suns but also be a meme that pretend to be Insect Glaive.

Flash bombs. Or if it's 2 players then just alternate and take turns on aggro for carves

You don't use flashbombs to stun monsters, it's a counter option against almost any attack and to lose track of yourself from monster... Unless is Khezu, he don't have eyes so there you throw sonic bombs.

Ah yes, since in Rise monsters are extremely aggressive and defense boost take nice boost... Pun intended. This isn't a bad idea.
I like to have Def+7, Dereliction+5, Interpid heart+2 what give you absurdly high Def.
God Im looking at this quest and man I WANT NONE OF THIS. Quest seems painful, the road to the quest seems painful the reward is rng or just bragging rights. Like I guess the challenge is the draw but this just looks like a hassle for the sake of being hard. So it looks like a pain from start to finish.
