I want to learn charge blade in monster hunter rise really badly, I knew it well in world but the stuff I see people do in rise is insane. Great video!
How'd it go? Use x and a in axe mode to use your powerful phial attack without buildup, and always power up your shield by pressing zr during the animation!
I've been thinking about getting back into rise and at least trying to hunt every single monster and generally complete the game. CB has always been my main weapon but I (foolishly) decided to try and learn a different weapon whenIi played rise the first time. You sir have given me hope again for using CB in rise and you have my thanks.
I want to be like this when me and my dinky little charge blade grow up. Out of curiosity, I wonder if their is a more generalized version of this build without the focus on spesifically dragon elemental damage.
Sorry if my question is rude but do u always play with these powersfull build or sometimes you play with normal builds to have fun with fighting the monster to make it equal and and fun cuz for me yeah I don’t know how to make a powerful build but if i had the chance I’ll have both normal and powerful once i want to speed run i have build for it and if ita for fun i have another build and again sry if this is rude or anything
nah its not rude XD, I use my speedrun build all the time when I am playing solo. But when I have friends in the lobby I just switch to my comfier builds
Back in MH4U I had not so powerful builds i would use if I didnt want to carry. My most OP build had 850ish def and 1400ish attack with the long sword and like 300ish para. Safe to say nothing really stood a chance. Had focus so that old school infinite spirit combo was OP with the build i had. Drawback was -20 stamina but i used dash juices so wasnt worried. I’ll admit, i mostly used HH when playing with a party as it buffs and i could show off what the HH could do as most people thought of it as a support weapon. Had a build with the molten tigrex HH that could break 2,000 attack. Had several OP HH builds. High damage but very squishy because i was a fashion hunter 😂. I honestly miss the old days because those builds i had cant be done anymore. Some key components will never be released again and skills work differently than back then. Like my stylish bombing set. RIP
You are amazing with that CB! I don’t think I am far enough in the game yet but what is the blue bar above your health and the charged meter by your sharpness ?

I’m ngl I j started, a rlly good base armor for charge blade is the bazelgeuse armor, j make sure to add some rapid morph decos

That's intrepid heart I believe, after charging the bar it reduces the damage and negates knock back from 1 hit

you can get them fairly easily so long as you use the be anomaly Charm melding

A question tho : Why go crit when 85+% of you damages outputs comes from discharge that cant crit ? If anyone has an idea please enlighten me :)
@@argotax47cause that other 15% of hits do use crit and that makes a big difference when speed running
