one more thing.... when applying resin to shrink plastic, it's best to lightly sand your shrink plastic before you apply the sticker and resin so that the resin has something to grip.
@@rosigribouilli5399 a spray sealer is going to just sit on the shrink plastic and create a layer that will eventually peel off. When you stand the plastic you create tiny little grooves for the resin to sink into and grip creating a better seal. You may as well be putting a layer of liquid latex down between the sticker and the resin if you use spray sealer...

Alternatively you can draw around the images in your art program after the images are scanned then just print out the outline that you need to trace so that you don't use up so much printer ink.

For future reference; I’ve been experimenting and any acrylic sealer will do. Cheap ones like Krylon and Rust-oleum painter’s touch work beautifully! Rust seems to be better since it claims to be UV-Resistant.

Use shrink plastic to outline the border 4. cut out the outline of shrink plastic 5. use hole puncher to punch hole 6. rubbing alcohol on plastic 7. use pre heated toaster oven 350 farenheit 8. Cool down plastic (press it down flat) 9. put print of engine onto plastic 10. spray with sealer spray throughly, allow it to fully dry 11. apply 2 part resin to dome the keychain with a toothpick 12. use blow dryer to dry it 13. apply keychain
also!!! For anyone wanting to make their own design, you can make your own stickers using sticker paper!!! They sell it at Walmart for like 10$ for a pack of I believe 15!!!

I would always go to Rite Aide to buy stickers for my 2yr Olds. lot of them, and had them in a lunch box. when I was a Daycare teacher, I have everything but the stickers. Question, I ordered a roll of cute pictures of Transportation cutouts that my nephew can color, they are al Rady big not too big .and I don't have to in large them.csn I use this. ?

So lets say that I have some custom vinyl sticker designs that I want to use for the shrink plastic. Would I need to photo copy at 200% to get the correct size on vinyl sticker design for the shrink plastic process as well? The shrink plastic is 5.7in x 7.8in.

Resin will give you the best result. Either 2 part resin or uv resin. There are alternatives like crystalac, dimensional magic, Diamond glaze etc
