1/4 cup of almond flour has 6g of carbs and this bread has about 1 1/2 cup of almond flour so it should have about 36g for whole bread and this bread size had 12 slices so I believe it had 3 grams of carbs per slice 😊

Have not had bread since march 2020 after starting keto ...i tried this today and it came out great.I read some of the comments about the eggy taste and did a little adjusting to the recipe to minimise the egg flavour.
1.add instant yeast 2 tsp gives it a bread like taste.
2.add some xylitol or erythritol .I used 1 1/2 table spoons of erythritol.
All the best... anyone thinking of going low carb or keto go for it you will not regret it.

This is a great recipe, I started keto diet 3 weeks ago and this is my bread recipe. Anyone out there wondering if they should go in keto or not, go for it. It is a little dense but I don't mind that as it is more filling. Very impressed! Will definitely make again as it was an easy recipe to follow and didn't take too long to make

This recipe looks amazing, but, it is NOT zero carbs. I ran this through a recipe nutrition counter and set it for 12 slices. Each slice has a total of 3 net carbs, which isn't bad, but, it is not zero. I will try this because it does look good. It looks a lot more fluffier than the recipe I have. Eggs have 1.3 carbs per egg and almond flour has carbs, so, I knew it wasn't zero carbs. I count every carb I eat because I am diabetic and the carbs add up quickly if you are not careful. You really need to change the title of your video because it is irresponsible to present false information that could effect someone's health.

Very confused that it says ZERO carbs. Kirkland (Costco brand) blanched almond flour has 3 carbs per 2 tbsp (15g). For required 225 g of flour, this would be 15 x 3 = 45 carbs total. Fibre is 1 g per 2 tbsp, so 15 x 1 = 15 g that could be deducted if you go for net carbs, which would be 30 net carbs per loaf. Divide this by the # of slices you cut for a carb count per slice. Please correct me if I missed an important piece of info from you that does in fact make this be zero carb, and not around 2 net carbs each slice. 🙂

Hello, Steven. This is the recipe:
      The Ingredients Are:
      6 eggs
      225g of Almond Flour
      3 teaspoons of Baking Powder
      1/4 teaspoon of Salt
      4 teaspoons of Melted Butter
      How To Do It:
      - First, separate the egg yolks from the whites. Put them in separate bowls.
      - Now, beat the eggs whites with a hand mixer or baking machine until they have the consistency of shaving cream.
      - In a separate bowl, with the help of a hand mixer, mix together all the egg yolks, salt and baking powder. Slowly add the butter to the mixture.
      - Now it’s time to add the Almond Flour into this mixture. Add the Almond Flour in small parts until all the Almond Flour is incorporated into the mixture.
      - Now take the egg whites and put a bit of the egg whites in the Almond Flour mixture. Mix them together with the Hand Mixer. Now add the rest of the egg whites and, with the help of a spatula, incorporate them with the rest of the mixture.
      The mixture is done.
Butter a bread loaf pan or coat it with some cooking oil spray of your choice. This video uses a type of oil and then the cook coats it evenly. It doesn’t say which oil is being used. I have done a keto bread that resembles this and I always use butter. I also use parchment paper that covers the loaf pan on its longest side as that helps to remove the bread from the loaf pan.
Bake the bread at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 30min. The video says 375 degrees Celsius but I’m pretty sure it’s supposed to be Fahrenheit.
I recommend letting it cool before removing the bread from the loaf pan.
You can slice it and wrap each slice in cling wrap and put them inside a tupperware and freeze them. You can just pop them in the oven or mini-oven for 5 minutes and they’ll be toasty. You can also put them in a toaster directly from the freezer as well. I’ve tried the toaster and mini-oven and both worked great. I actually do that every morning.
I hope that helped you. Have a great day!

  • @Gustav20
    @Gustav20 4 роки тому +5

Okay, recipe looks good and I'm definitely going to try it. Just a couple observations from the video: You take the time to whip the egg whites; however, you end up using the mixer when you first combine them. That just defeated the purpose of whipping (to incorporate air into the whites). I know you folded the rest in, but if you didn't need to fold all then why do it that way.
The second thing (and craziest I noticed) was the temp you said to bake the bread at... 375 Celsius?!?!?!? That's 707 Fahrenheit. Baking 30 min. at that temp you'd end up with a char brick or even catch the oven on fire.
And. . . Just to nitpick. You cut into the bread way too soon. It was still steaming. Unless it's different with almond bread. I know with standard bread you need to let it cool completely (sometimes almost an hour or more) before cutting to allow the cooking to complete; optimizing the texture and enhancing flavors.
My two-cents. Nice presentation thought. Thanks for the walk-through.

    • @cookityoutuber
      @cookityoutuber  4 роки тому

I have pinned my comment that appears at the very top to apologize for the mistake it was supposed to be 375 degrees Fahrenheit not Celsius. And the separate beating of the egg whites makes the bread soft and fluffy and I will keep in mind to not to cut the bread while hot , I will let the bread cool down before cutting. I appreciate you liked my video otherwise 😊

The baking directions stated "375 Celsius." I'm pretty sure you meant to say 375 Fahrenheit. A temperature of 375 C is equal to 707 F.

This recipe had 24 grams of net carbs only from almond flour!
    Here is the calculation
    (226/28)*3g
    Each 28 g of almond flour contains 3g carbs (1g sugar 2 g net)

I made this today and wow it turned out great. It doesn’t taste eggy at all and was super moist! Really surprised that it tasted this good. It’s slightly more dense than your normal bread but it honestly taste so much better and you feel so much more fuller in my opinion. Thank you!!! :)
