Just finished similar project using 2 1/2" squares and scraps from binding strips from quilts for Israel project that ladies from our church completed. I wanted each to have a remembrance. It was so gratifying to use scraps that would normally be tossed! Many blessings!

I ordered a Ruby Star scrap pack from Amazon earlier this year and it was nice. I thought I'd order another scrap pack and see if I might get one that I liked better. Guess what ? Yep, got the same pack that I ordered the first time. Not complaining, just saying.

I did not make a tutorial for that quilt but there is an existing pattern for one just like it called Birds of a Feather 👍🏻
Am I seeing it right that you do not trim the corners off your rectangular fabrics after adding the wonky corner accents?
Correct, I do not! I would if I were using a lighter fabric and the ones underneath showed through.
