“Mopar as we know it is forever dead, it’s gone” is such a short sighted thing to say. Maybe some of these YTuber’s haven’t been Mopar fans for as long as they pretend to be, or their knowledge of Mopar history isn’t very good. So let me educate some of you. Mopar was “dead” by the time the late 70’s rolled around. It was “dead” all throughout the 1980’s. It came back to life some in the 1990’s with the Viper and to some extent the Prowler, and the even a little with inception of Hemi in the Dakota’s and Rams. Then it was “dead” again in the early 2000’s. Then came back to life when the Challenger and Charger were brought back. Now, it’s dead apparently forever according to these guys. See a pattern here?
That quote doesn’t contradict what you said. This iteration of mopar is going to be dead as a result of this. Maybe something will birth a new version in the future. But what we loved about it will die due to this electric bs.
Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt. Three words that can be used to describe what these V8 tribalists spread when their antiquated engine is no longer in production

It's a sure bet you Dodge guys have better ideas than I. But can we agree, I am sick of the government designing cars that we have to pay for. If the functionaries in Washington wish to mandate the use of electric vehicles styled like cakes of soap they need authorization from Congress. On election day and after we all have a responsibility to make that happen.
In my view the car companies are in a no-win situation. Especially Dodge. All their high volume cars are gone. The government has pretty much made it impossible for Dodge.
Stalantis has ruined the brand they need to bring this back to America and sell off the crappy brands like Opal and Peugeot and then get back to some affordable muscle.
Although I will never purchase an EV vehicle, I do like the status updates and hope that Stellantis goes bankrupt and the U.S. government take the Mopar brands away and sells them back to Americans willing to save them restore profitability!!! I wish they'd just sell the new charger with no drivetrain. Then we could do what we want with it.
I seen that Ford Torino Cobra you slipped in there.
An EV “muscle car” was never going to work. Every American knows this. Europeans have no clue! Stellantis needs 2 separate CEOs. One for America and one for everyone else who loves crappy cars.
Gotta be honest personally have not said anything about when are the EVs hitting the market. Kinda don't care. Now new muscle let me know that.
Does Stellantis think people are gonna be so impatient for this car that they'll go for the first version that comes available for sale which in this case will be the ev version?
Stellantis is a disaster!
Just ordered a hat! looking forward to getting it!
The reason they did the elec first is for their CAFE numbers
I just stay with my 2018 Scat Pack. Hear and feel the experience of a regular V8
They don't actually want to sell the sixpack. They probably have limited availability of the Hurricane 6 anyway and would rather use them on Jeep and RAM badges. Plus, what they were getting at is that if people buy the sixpack Charger they won't buy the Charger Daytona. Which is the one Tavares wants out there, because he's a "true believer" on EVs.
Hey RacerX, did you have any copyright problems with SPEED RACER?😊
It's all very sad 😢
Oh wow, Scotty just dropped a new video concerning mass layoffs: ok yeah, 2023 will be the last model year for this brand
We want competitive V8'S!
They shouldve rolled out the gas car first to let ppl get used to the new design then ramp up to the EV model after
My guess is that they screwed up something with either hp or range. Or maybe theyll cancel the project all together due to lack of interest?
Stellantis needs to sell out to an American co. They need to forget about the ev. Go back to the Hemi and watch sales soar
I saw the Banshee concept live earlier this year and IMO, the styling is quite weak. It really doesn't stand out.
This is an exciting race tonsee which jappens forst, Stellantis declaring bankruptcy or the EV Charger being released.
They will be out of business soon
What hold up hold up so you can still build and buy a 2023 Dodge Challenger???? Like if it was new I’m confused?????
I'm a Chevy guy, but hear me out. How about a re-styled 1968 Charger (same approach as the Challenger). Move the 392 up to 426 and under-rate the horsepower for better insurance prices.
Stellantis has been having major problems lately...worried about the future of Dodge.
Stalantis has ruined the brand they need to bring this back to America and sell off the crappy brands like Opal and Peugeot and then get back to some affordable muscle.
Ummmm it’s EV chargers on the road here in Michigan. Personal owners, not testers or execs with M plates.
Although I will never purchase an EV vehicle, I do like the status updates and hope that Stellantis goes bankrupt and the U.S. government take the Mopar brands away and sells them back to Americans willing to save them restore profitability!!! The federal government needs to create a law that would prevent American companies from use from being purchased by foreign entities!!!!
Prayers for anyone who buys this trash
I'm willing to bet that 2023 will be the last Chrysler model year
I thought they’re having issues with the Hurricane 6 in the cars that they put them in. Honestly, price hike on the new Charges is do to making for the extra emissions credits that had to buy for those big V8’s you’ll wanted the years before for $40,000. If was you guys I would Stellantis sell Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and Ram.
I think everyone waiting for a V8 Charger in 2025 or 26 should be wise and have a plan B. It might never happen!
Awww isn't that cute Dodge turned into fairy haulers😂😂😂😂
For once Stellantis is using common sense and not launching that EV brick in the middle of winter. They might as well hold off and do a spring launch 😮
