- This is the full attraction audio from Disneyland's Haunted Mansion Holiday, a Nightmare Before Christmas overlay of the Haunted Mansion from the Halloween season through Christmastime. This audio is from the album titled "A Musical History of Disneyland," released in 2005. And for anyone who enjoys ghost themes that are scary and sometimes fun and interesting, Nintendo is releasing Luigi's Mansion 2 in early 2012. Here is the link to a preview of the game: • Luigi's Mansion 2 - TG...
Technically this audio is the VERY FIRST Haunted Mansion Holiday event. It was only used once.
skellington15 damn shame too this reccording dope af
Just once? Why? It sounds pretty much the same
This is actually the soundtrack that they used for the very first year of Haunted Mansion Holiday. It was only used once. The streching room, the words Ghost Host says, and a few other features still sound the same though. A few parts of this soundtrack are used in the current ride, such as the music in the attic is currently used in the Oogie Boogie scene at the end of the ride.
+Nic Hammons Yeah.
this gives so much nostalgia
i remember when i was like 7 on my first trip to disneyland
they brought me to the haunted mansion holiday and asked if i wanted to go one with my uncles
i said yes and when we were in the foyer i was freaked out because of the theme
and when we went into the stretching room i asked my mom if we could leave
she said were already here
so we went in and i was just hiding behind my mom
then i saw jacks head on the ceiling and it scared me so much that i had to crouch and cover my ears
but the rest of the ride i liked because at the time, nightmare before christmas was my favorite movie and the theme of the ride was pretty interesting
Some of this music plays in the patio as background music at the restaurant on the left of the haunted mansion during Christmas and Halloween. That's really awesome are they still keep some of it in the park. For example I heard the old Madam leoda scene music in the ballroom music being played over there
This audio is better then the one thats on right now
+Spongeycraft IKR!
You said it!
what's wrong with the current soundtrack?
This ending is so much better
2:06-2:15, 8:37-9:37; BEST CHRISTMAS CHOIR I'VE EVER HEARD!!
Am I the only one who actually likes both this and the current soundtrack for this ride?
I know! They're both so good!
They're both awesome. I like that they used the original attic music for Oogie's wheel of gifts that we have now. I think I have a slight preference for the current one because it's more orchestral, but I do like that this one uses original music instead of new arrangements of Nightmare Before Christmas songs. I don't really like the movie that much, so it's nice to hear this
While I like the Holiday version, nothing compares to the original attraction. It was rumored that a more permanent version of Holiday would be built somewhere near Fantasyland in Disneyland, but it would focus more on 'The Nightmare Before Christmas'.
Ahh time to watch my fab audio now
Still gives me chills
12:29 It sounds like she said “Oh f*ck!” XDD
Ahh the old days of the mansion. *Good* times.
Good times indeed. Arguably better than current times.
Well I like the new track too.
The new tracks are OK, but I prefer these ones. The attraction is called "Haunted Mansion Holiday", so it should sound like the original, but in a weird-twisted-Christmas-y way. This soundtrack captures that, I think.
The "Nightmare Before Christmas" ride was to occupy the space near 'it's a small world' and was fully designed but never built. I've seen the designs myself for the facade, the interior, and the ride layout, as well as the ride vehicles and explanations of key scenes.
benkindelstudios that’s neat
I love this! The original soundtrack was so much better, instead of replaying that annoying "kindnap santaclaus tune"- this score has more omph to it, and has the feel of a danny elfman tune.
That graveyard theme was AWESOME
And yet it still is :D
The attic scene sounds kind of techno.
Thanks for posting this!
YOU GOT TO LOVE THIS !
Anyone know of where I could find just the background music? Without the narrator and everything?
Goofy's voice in 15:46
With it being the 20th of the attraction, I wish they had put this soundtrack instead of the current one. I like this one best.
This was the soundtrack that was used prior to him being added to the ride.
9:37 this part is always fun to hear on the ride and idk why.
My favorite ride!!!!!
If I'm incorrect tell me but does the ghost host Say : not a creature was stirring not even A mouse? Or The mouse? Because if he said "not even THE mouse", would be so cool.
Oh yeah, they don't do HMH in Florida. They almost did, but then it all got shipped to Tokyo instead. :C The CD is just called Disneyland Haunted Mansion Holiday, I think.
tbh i think tokyo is better
do you mean what they play on the ride now? I don't know it, nor can I obtain any updated audio of the ride. However, I do have the audio from the regular version of The Haunted Mansion. The audio that I post comes from official albums on cd, so you get an idea of how much content I am likely to obtain and/or post.
But the full version of the new soundtrack is available as well as this one. You could just buy the CD and then make a video.
Can you upload the new soundtrack as well as this one?
US Disneyland
Well, it would be helpful to know what the cd is called or where it is available.. I live in Florida and the Disneyland cd set I got was ordered from Amazon. I also got the Happiest Celebration on Earth Disneyland cd at Barnes and Noble, and the Disney World "Four Parks One World" official album at one of the trading posts in Fort Wilderness in Disney World. And here's a news bomb: Test Track at Epcot is getting a revamp and will reopen in November.
2001
At 8:40 what is the song title?
It's The Carol of the Bells.
Cool thanks!!
No problem!
sounds like "boo" and "ho ho ho" are running together
What's the name of the very first music. 0:00 I need it with out narration.
Up on the Housetop. Some kinda creepy organ + choir rendition.
Anon E. Mousse Thank you, I'll check it out.
For me this is ok
Ok.
Can someone tell me what the name of 9:38 is??? I'm dying to know.
Zeldaboo just the original attic music by Gordon Goodwin, I’m not sure it has a name just a part of the soundtrack. Now it’s used in the crypt at the end of the ride instead of the attic.
Hi
Hey
Um... this was never planned. ever.
An1mag1qu3 this is the soundtrack that was used in 2001. The first Haunted Mansion Holiday.
The haunted mansion holiday should be open all year round, the normal version couldn't hope to compare
Wait where was oogie boogie
