- I finally get around to creating SMaSH and it worked out brilliantly. If you are interested in knowing what I did watch this one it's a great recipe and very easy. Small batch brewing is very much a great hobby for all and now we have the tech to help make it even easier.
All Grain SMaSH | Single Malt and Single Hop.
Recipe:
5.5 Kg Viloria Malt
100g Amarillo Hops
Mash in using 18.4 Litres water at 65°c for 1 hour
Add 20g hops at start of boil
Start heating 14 Litres of sparge water to 75°c
Mash out 10 minutes at 75°c
Boil wort for 1 Hour
Transfer and ferment for around five days before adding the other 80g of Amarillo

Looks like you did a great job Pierre. Even tho I am not a fan of Hazies I am impressed by a well made one especially a well made home brewed hazy. Hazies like pale lagers are definitely a test a of a brewers skill and talent so hats off to ya mate!
Thank you very much!
My citra smash tasted better than a more complicated IPA I made!
Yeah, I reckon keep it simple and it will taste awesome.
I love it! Thank you for your brew day videos.
thanks for the vid - beer looked great - what was alpah acid of hops please
Great video. I am a big smash fan for learning tastes so great to see your grain and hop choices worked out well!
Hey, thanks!
Looks great and simple!
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Looks good, nice job 👍🍻
Thank you! Cheers!
Can you adjust this to lbs and ounces and F°
Sure why not!
12 pounds of Valeria malt 3.5 ounces of hops. .7 ounces of hops for bittering and 2.8 ounces for day 5 dry hop.
Nice grain2glass video... what was the hop? At the start you mentioned Amarillo but at the end dry hopped with Mosaic?? Either way, looks to be a great brew 🍺
I didn't notice that I said Mosaic, sorry about het it was Amarillo all the way.
@@SimpleHomeBrew I reckon I might do one of these, always struggled to find the flavour Amarillo brings when used with other hops. Sometimes I like it, other times I’ve really disliked it 🍻
