Very timely. The exact same metre is due on Feb 2 so I won’t be confused as you gave an excellent demonstration. Thanks so much. Your site is fantastic.
I have purchase this PH meter with the extra probe. And I’m about to do first calibration. Thank for the suggestion. I have used other ph meters at work I have retired now so I’m happy with this purchase so far🥰❣️❤️
Thank you for the great advice on saving the calibration solutions! Although I would like to add that one manufacturer of ph-meters said to pour only a small (tiny?) amount of solution into another, clean container right upon calibrating, and then toss the poured solution out once the calibration is completed. This is so that the meter stick doesn’t ever go into the solution directly (and possibly altering the pH of the solution in any way, as a result). I personally haven’t tried it this way, but will give it a go! Hoping we can all give each other advice on ways to elevate our home fermentation skills 🤩
Thank you so much for this video! I asked after watching the basic one if you had one for this updated one, so sorry for bothering you needlessly as I have now found the one I needed. Your instructions make it so easy for a person that struggles with things like this!
I have just started fermenting vegis and you are a delightful teacher. 😊 My fermentations are very salty tasting is that normal? I have ordered a ph meter to make sure it is actually fermenting since I am not real sure what these new foods are suppose to taste like. I like saurkraut but I have never had other fermented vegis. I am doing this to improve my gut health.
I really appreciate your easy to follow instructions on calibration of my new Yinmik pH meter. I have purchased this based on your excellent video comparing pH methods. I have one question regarding my purchase. My question is regarding keeping the tip of the meter moist during storage. How often should I add a drop or two the the storage cap and does the second tip that was included in my purchase need to be remoistened also? Thank you.
I do so if I haven't used my meter within 10-14 days. AND YES! glad you asked... the 2nd tip needs hydration too. I learned the hard way when I forgot about tip #2 😝
Thank you , I sure needed to see this. Great. Can you use it when canning red beans with meat & season in it and salsa, tomato sauce etc. I’m new and loving it 65 young and now it’s my time lol
Hello, can I put the PH solution in a plastic container instead of a glass Jar? Can I also use filtered Brita water instead of buying distilled water? Thank you so much and I love your videos! (Currently pickling some veg because of this channel) :)
uhmm after 4 days in brine my peppers already have a ph of 3.6. Is that normal. I sampled few floaters and they taste smoky (black cardamom in the jar) and delicious
Hi Adrienne,I was looking for your holiday fruit ferment video and can't find it so I did it by memory unfortunately a 73 year old memory.Hopefully it doesn't self destruct
We use a Berkey. It’s worth every penny and more. Couldn’t live where I do without it. Remember when using filtered water you remove all good minerals also.

Thank you! This video was so informative. You are an excellent teacher of the art of fermentation…
Oh man! I wish I would of seen this first! I would of saved the ph solution. :/ I bought mine after watching your ACV videos. 👍👍♥️
Another very beautiful, educational, simplistic, healthy, amazing video. Thank you ; )

Can this be used to test garden soil PH?

Yes you can, just not when its really hot🙂
Thank you so much, the visual works💜
How do you clean your meter in between measuring ferments? Water alone or soap. Thank you
Water alone👍
Very informative and accurate ... thank you
Thank you so much for doing this video.
Thank you that was great
I live in Panamá and distilled water is (if you can find it) over $7 a gallon. Can I substitute boiled filtered (Berkey)water?
Yes that's fine😊
I would love to see some more of your skin care videos
How do you ferment boiled eggs?
Waooo you are a life saver ❤🎉
Hi love this place. What is the name of ph meter thanks as iam not into amazon. ❤❤
How interesting, thank you :)
Well done.
Love it❤

What is KCL solution? The probe and replacement probe this solution in it.
Good morning ma'am how often we used testing kits in every time we used ph meter or just once, thank you & good day God bless
For this meter, once has proven to be effective (not needing every time before use)

No problem👍
Thank you so much for this video. What is the best ph level for kefir (fruits or milk)?
The best ph for kefir is bwtn 5 -5.5. Fruits will be more acidic and milk will be a little higher than a kefir ph 😊👍
Thank you from Montreal 🤗

Is there filter water system you use or like the most?

😀thank you
very good
Seems it’s Juanjuan that make these cheap pH meters in all different shapes and colours and brand names
🦝
are you happy with this pH meter after 9 months? I'm in search for an accurate one.
nvm you reuse your calibration solution so you really have no idea
