Assalam alaykum sir i have been studying your excel sheet i have a question need your help ... that 0.62 is the percentage of steel? and to get 0.62 did you take area of steel divide by total area of concrete?.. and this 25.4* 25.4 is the area of concrete and in which units? kindly waiting for your reply in shaa allah.. thanks
if you are using meter as units in etabs, the rebar needed which is required is given in mm^2. so just don;t divide with (25,4*25,4) and it with be mm^2
@@Decodebd sir..we are using 12mm bar also as per IS code..but your excel sheet starting from 14mm to 30mm bars....I need 12 mm bar..wt should i do..wt is the procedure to edit.... Pls give your suggestion

I saw that your values are from etabs are in ft!! But do you really make this Excel in ft or inch??

no, sometimes it demands more steel than lower stroy due to lateral loads

Yes. Design your model in IS code then use the excel for detailing.
