In BD we sometimes ignore the shear reinforcement if it is showing overstressed in ETABS. e.g. only one of the beam section in a long series of section, the beam is red and the shear reinforcement on one side is overstressed. So, should we ignore it or increase the beam size of all the panels? what would be the best judgment?

shear is controlled by increasing Depth of Beam, if the Gravity loads governs than EQ load or wind load.

No need to design for shear reinforcement . Provide minimum 2 legged shear reinforcement ( According to IS Code )
