Never been able to figure out the Bassline for this song, I’ve had a rough idea for it but it’s so low in the mix on the original track, Bart is killing it as usual, and I was finally able to pick out the Bass part Thanks to The Analogues for everything you guys are doing, it means a lot to fans to see The Beatles music being properly recreated, and your giving attention to some songs that some people may not know, or “deep cuts” as we refer to them
@@darrellkingsley7420 I’ve heard stories from during the Touring Years, how Paul would be in the hotel room crafting his Bass parts for any songs they were working on in the studio at that time
@@stone_me6849 yep, the only thing is that I don’t know if he is playing it accurately though, I know that’s what the Analogues are all about, but when I listen to the original and compare it to what Bart is playing, they don’t totally match up, none of it is wrong but I don’t think he has the placement of things 100%, he must just be doing an adaptation of all 3 Basslines from the song
@@Concentration_4298 I think Paul McCartney was a really lazy bass player - just playing enough notes, only just! Compare him with Bill Wyman on the early Stones tracks.
@@stone_me6849 I mean he’s not the greatest “Bass player”, but objectively he is not lazy either, that’s the wrong word, not the most technically proficient player, the better word to use is “unorthodox”, he treats his Bass more like a voice than an instrument, to me he is in the list of most influential Bassists, and one of the best overall, simply due to his sense of melody and contextual playing, especially in the later Beatles tracks. Paul doesn’t do too much or too little and thats what makes him unique, too many players have a shitty habit of overplaying/showing off, and too many players can’t do something cool or creative to save their life, I love Jaco, but as a Bass player myself for years, I don’t find his playing to be very interesting to listen too for 40 minutes, but I can listen to any later Beatles record for the Bass parts and enjoy it, obviously that’s sort of subjective but factual at the same time
In the late Sixties a TV show called Hullabaloo franchised clubs in the US. While performing as a back up band for Screaming Lord Sutch (Tom's River NJ) we were astonished to witness a band The Fuzzy Bunnies, perform the entire Sergeant Pepper album: live! and it was terrific. Due to reality, nothing much came of it for them. But at the time, it was mind blowing musicianship. Meanwhile, I was dodging Sutch, who was running around with a Bowie knife during his "hit" HANDS OF THE RIPPER. Big fun. . ..
Si dieran unconcierto en México, al primer acorde la gente ya estuviera bailando y cantando. Habemos muchos fans que nos encantaría escucharlos en vivo. Please, come to México!
Saw the Abbey road/Let it be tour in Maastricht in April 2022, insanely good. Already tickets for Hello Goodbye March 2023 in Maastricht. I can't wait. Really looking forward to it!!
I always thought the drumming had a strange feel on Back in the USSR. Years later I found out hack drummer McCartney played them and it all made sense.
@@cliffhughes6010 Agreed… Ringo is unique and is the inspiration for millions of drummers all around the world. He’s also probably tied with John Bonham in being responsible for the most drumkits every sold! Ludwig said that Ringo was responsible for lifting the company out of an impending bankruptcy.
Alas, the sheer bloody IRONY of this song is lost on most youngsters today, given that at the time it was virtually IMPOSSIBLE to leave the ghastly USSR (aka The Workers' Paradise)!
Diederik Nomden has to be the goto guy for any entity that wants to replicate the vocal of Lennon & McCartney without the use of autotune or AI, and the fact that he is a native Dutch speaker makes it all the more remarkable.
Yes, that would be awesome! But I watched an interview with two of the members. they were asked have Paul or Ringo contacted them to say hey, good job? They have not heard from either of them. That really surprised me.
Paul’s croaking 80 year old voice would ruin the performance. I say that as a Macca fan who’s seen him in concert twice. He should have stopped at least 10 years ago. The Beatles were not inspired by 80 year old men, and neither are today’s music fans.
Perfect!!! Frankly, how do you do it? You perform it as well as the Beatles themselves, except that they recorded it in the studio and you play it live. I think there should be a ranking of the Beatles' interpreters just as there are rankings of Bach's or Beethoven's interpreters. I guess the Beatles themselves might rank close to you 😀 You are the Beatles' Glenn Gould!
J'en ai vu et entendu de nombreuses pâles copies des Fab's four, mais après avoir visualisé de nombreux titres repris par ce groupe, elles sont de plus en plus pâles....
I think it's good that people do it this way. That he doesn't dress up like a parade and my mother's sloppiness, but keeps to himself and only concentrates on the music and suppresses it like hell. This band really knows what they're doing...!
Why wasn't this issued as a single in 1968? I guess the boys' (the Beatles) stand against taking tracks off of albums as singles might have been behind not being put out.
Conozco a un músico español que les preguntó a The Analogues; que cuanto le cobrarían por dejarlo actuar con ellos... I lo preguntó totalmente convencido de lo que hacia.
4 years old? This music is timeless. 4yo or 50+ yo, when I first heard this track it blew me away. I had to stop and check that it was the Beatles. Then I realised the extent of the talent they had, by comparing the range of genres they created under. They knew music.
An amazing performance!
My goodness, does it get any better? I don't think so, this is a rendition at its best. Simply outstanding.
A sound real and beautiful, the analogues is the best band Beatles
They are the Best of the best sound of the Beatles! Nr 1 …

You guys are fantastic !
It's great that this music can be heard and seen live. And it's so much better with a good drum sound !
As soon as he started singing my jaw dropped. That could easily be Paul himself
