For everyone saying what’s wrong with the audience, this is a Dutch talkshow in which bands come to preform. They invited The analogues to come play songs from the album Abby road in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the album. Now for why the audience is so quite this is because the songs are played in the telling of the bigger story and they immediately move on back to telling the story after a song. Now for the people saying it’s a dull performance, yes it’s not prefect but this was still before they were gonna tour through holland/England to perform the album. I went to one of the concerts and they mastered it so don’t worry :)
To add to the first bit Queens of the Stone Age also came to preform on this show once and they were given a very small time segment which they didn’t agree with you can probaly still find a clip of how the lead singer protested (this show was on from 19:00 to 20:00 that’s very limiting)
Just received Sgt Pepper's, Magical Mystery Tour, and White Album DVDs in the mail today. They've already been played twice. LOL And finally got a list of the strings and horns that put the finishing touches on the music. WONDERFUL!!!!!
Anyone, interested in music, knows that Beatle's songs are particularly complex and difficult to play. The analogues make more than playing Beatle's songs, they are analogue and the best cover band ever listened. Guys, what you make is great !
Listening to this brilliant performance of Beatles genius thigs i thought that it would be right if from now on such musical masterpieces created in 60-70-ies of XX century need to be performed like the classical things of great composers of 18-19 centuries, Mozart, Bach, Beethoven and so on.
Great band, check out the complete concerts they've done for 'The magical mystery tour', Sgt.Pepper' and White albums, their achievement is stunning to see. The logistics and attention to detail are phenomenal in recreating the sound as authentically as possible. This is strangely the weakest performance of a track I've seen, but then it's a TV studio with a totally lobotomised audience, so it was hardly inspiring for the group. Had a producer warned those kids to stay still and not make any noise? Had they been kidnapped there? Not only did they seem to not enjoy it they actually looked pissed off
Al the comments of the audience , that's why the Beatles didn't play live anymore , becouse they could not hear themselfs . This audience like to listen .
The lead on this is weak. The blond guy who usually plays piano and the Rod Stewart looking dude who sings a lot of Paul's stuff in the Sgt Pepper/Magical Mystery Tour vids, they're good
That's Gerhart, he actually thought he was going to a lonely hearts club meeting... He's fond of old movies, rainy walks and a good spanking now and then.
I ain't bothered about the audience. This is a studio audience who listen, in Holland it's different to American Whooping & Hollering all the time. Just listen & enjoy, clap if you want to.
As much as I love these lads, this one need a little more work for perfection. I was immediately drawn to a few differences in volume levels, and the original piece was sung with raspier vocals. Also, it seems a bit stale, as in you can here these guys trying their best to sound like the record, and in that, they fall short of the freedom of the song. Keep in mind, that this is one of about three songs that need a little more improvement. The rest of the repertoire is dead on, I mean like I cry dead on.
It'll never be the Beatles but it is as close as. So stop being so pedantic, splitting hairs and just enjoy the performance. It is live whereas the Beatles version is a studio master which is burned into our brains. Even if THE BEATLES did it live at the time, it would not have sounded nearly as good as this nor would it have even been possible as live gear technology was wayyyy behind. Its an excellent performance.
@@sbbinahee It's not about you, it's for the band, who, if you follow them, you'd know they are perfectionists and greatly appreciate feedback...No one ever got better by having people kiss their ass.
are they playing for statues? was the audience expecting a different artist? it's sad to see a band playing such a cool rock song to people that doesn't react!!!.
I agree. I loved Jan van der Meij's voice & his showmanship. He was a performer not just a musician giving the show some pizazz. Why did he leave? What happened? Loved him on the "Sgt. Pepper" performance (the first vid I watched) He was the McCartney rocker voice & Diederik was the softer beautifully plaintive ballad voice (both McCartney & Lennon/ Harrison too on other LPs). Their lead vocals were so good individually and they blended beautifully. And I love the other guys also. Love how they assigned the vocals to exactly the right voice. Sad to say, but this new guy (Felix Maginn) is okay but disappointing.
They're flabbergasted that music do not come from a flamboyant DJ (with a reputation) who's brilliantly playing a vinyl on a machine with a complicated Off/On button and featuring the musical genius of a reverb Yamaha X-139P looper.....
If they’re not singing to The Beatles’ original track, they must be geniuses! Oh wait - they ARE geniuses!! Utterly brilliant!
Move to the B side medley - A fantastic recreation of the best 14 minutes in the history of recorded music

Großartig. Das beste Cover seit den 60ern.
You guys are just phenomenal! WOW! You guys are also a tribute! Thank You so much for all your work!
Echt super. !
These kids in the audience - not having a clue, what fantastic performance they are seeing.
they do , they're literally mostly musical students they're just paying attention
nice to see an audience smiling!
Smiling ? They look a bunch of miserable dead heads, mainly.
Yeah, which micro-second was that?

Audiencia zombie!!!!
Fabulous version...
Just stunning! Superb!!
A platéia parece ser de outro planeta!!!
Wat een goeie band.

I agree with your statement. This one needs a little more refining. But otherwise a great effort.
I agree, didn't they know who they were going to see and what kinda of venue it was, unreal. PEACE AND LOVE
Like casting pearls to swine, ah well they can go back and listen to Taylor Swift now 😂
Belle decouverte merci
Super!!
Felix is Fab!
well done, lads.
Ik geniet dagelijks van jullie programma , ik zie veel innerlijk mooie mensen 👍👏🏻👍🤝

GOOD SINGERS....MISSING LINK FOR THIS GROUP

niet normaal deze gasten
Where is Paul and Ringo?
Super duper
come on audience..........come together!!!!!!!
John Lennon actually wrote the song about himself. There are clues in the lyrics, like "He must good lookin', 'cause he's so hard to see."
This audience is like, what is this song never heard of it lol.
Totally apatic audience! What a hell where are they from? Another universe?
Where is the audience from? They all look like they're in a coma. Great band.
Intimidated by cameras.
they've probably never heard anything heavier than a quickstep
No. In Holland we listen. We don't do your Whooping & Hollering & Whistling. We are respectful. You can clap at home, it's a democracy
Freakin kool........ Beatles Fan
What a flippen dry audience man if this was there .......well lets just say spectacular.
Great rendition as always, but... the high note on the refrain MUST be hit. You can't cheat ;-)
Why is Diederik playing guitar and not on keyboards? Another absolutely brilliant performance!
Diederik can play both so I guess it depends on which song they play.😊
That's Allard Robert on keyboards. He's the secret sauce to the band, plays just about everything.
Thank you! If he’s ever not available, I play everything, and I know all The Beatles’ songs inside out. Just saying…!
Eargasm.
is there more of this special?
..and who's the bald chap?? (red tie, glasses)
That's Gerhart, he actually thought he was going to a lonely hearts club meeting... He's fond of old movies, rainy walks and a good spanking now and then.
Who cares.
👍👍👍👍❤️
This is the modern version of a classical music performance - like going to symphony to listen to Beethoven.
que cante paul
the audience is like the music : high .

ジョンレノンのライブよりレコードの曲に近いのは、なぜ?
The entire audience is in a coma. Or just came from a double funeral.
No way, they are just dumbfounded by the skill of the band. And I mean it.
I ain't bothered about the audience. This is a studio audience who listen, in Holland it's different to American Whooping & Hollering all the time. Just listen & enjoy, clap if you want to.

...so awesome ...but all the mummies in the audience....

My thoughts exactly. The lead vocal nailed most of it, but when it comes to the 'yeahhhs' and 'ohhs', quality lowers

Just listen. You are getting this great Analogues playing for free so stop whining.
The audience looks like they're in mourning....
They are listening. It's how they do it in Holland. Fine by me. You clap if you want to.
he has to work on the voice, too smooth
Who’s the old bald dude they keep showing? He looks like James Clapper.

They are good players no doubt of it but sad to say, the vocals are not compatible with Beatles songs. That's my personal comment sorry guys...
ノーコメントと言いたいけど、ポール・マッカートニーの地を這うようなベースとジョン・レノンの魂の宿ったボーカルには、程遠いかな❗️
Not to be too knit-picking but the line is “he bad production” NOT “he bad protection”. But hey, I’ll give’em a pass. Good performance!!!
This new guy is awful. Terrible. Bring Jan back.
