Sounds killer though the Marshall! I have a set of Monty’s paf pickups on the way. I will be replacing burstbuckers in my r7 goldtop. I have always had a love and hate relationship with them. They can be harsh on the bridge pickup. Hoping for good results with the Monty’s.
Hope you’re well man- you might be thinking of my Jimmy Page LP I got back in 95. The G0’s never had push/pull pots and I took them out of my JP a few years ago but still love it!
Dig it, Doug. In my semiprofessionalsemiretireddrummer opinion, I like the Monty’s!
Agreed!!
What lovely guitars
Sounds great! I like both..

How did the Monty’s sound? Did harshness in the bridge go away? A magnet swap could also do the trick too with the burst buckets..
Well…they are sending me a new set. The original ones lacked sparkle and chime. Will give an update as soon as I get them back into the guitar.
I hear more of that good old sizzle on the Montys......
You ought to try Amber Spirit of 59 pickups. Th3y will further blow you away at the musicality.
Kinda sounds like a DiMarzio 36th Anniversary
Hey Doug, it's Brad. Is that the JP we did the 4 push pulls on at IRC?hope you are all good buddy ;)
