@@dps6198 yeah mine would do like 10 hours without AC. about 6-7hrs with AC. If you’re only running extension cords it’ll go a long time. I have mine hooked up to the house, percs of being licensed electrician 💪🏾

That’s a pretty normal sized home in Houston… also they most likely bought that home 30+ years ago when it was affordable like most home owners did. Besides that, buying multiple things of gas multiple times a day for 11 days would get expensive to anyone so i don’t get the correlation.
It wasn’t 100+ degrees in the middle of summer when Ike hit. It was September and the weather was in the mid 60s/70s. How are you an adult but yet you don’t understand the difference between July weather in 2024 vs September weather in 2008?

Mine went 11 hours on five gallons.

Oh cry me a river. When hurricane Ike blew through here we were out of power for nearly three weeks.
My mom was in her late 70s and toughed it out.
