It has been really therapeutic to learn cursive handwriting recently. One an average I am perfecting my handwriting for one hour a day. Thanks to the UA-camrs like you for motivating me to learn a new handwriting. I am blissfully writing it! 😊
Dotted paper is definitely much better than the liner paper. Lined paper is common and many people may think it is better for guiding your writings, but I think it actually sort of boxes the writer in and forced to rely on the line as opposed to automatically writing consistent sentences in a straight line. I actually found that plain paper without the dots is the best for me. That is because I like to write as small or as large as I’d like. Absence of any lines or dots on paper allows me to adjust my writing to an unlimited extent. I also learned that it enabled me to write straight and consistent letters very quickly by making me use the letters themselves as a guide.
I was today years old when I learned there were various cursive "styles" . I'm 44. When I was young there was just "cursive " . I'm getting ready to teach my 11 year old, but now I'm at a loss at which to choose.

I have to say that a number of letters demonstrated in the video are slightly less standard than the most common way of writing them.
Interesting cursive "b". Different, but not hard to recognize
