- When Malu Trevejo moved from Madrid, Spain to Miami, Florida at the age of 13, she was more worried about dealing with bullies than pursuing a music career. She got teased about everything from the clothes she wore to her Spanish accent, but soon enough, she waved goodbye to the haters and hello to a major record deal.
Since she released her first song, "Luna Llena" in September of 2017, Malu's music videos have racked up over 111 million views!
In her most personal interview yet, Malu sits down and talks about everything from her pets to her new song, "Swipe Dat" to social media pressure.
"You're beautiful the way you are and you don't need likes to prove that you're awesome," she says. "You've just got to be yourself. Keep working hard and doing what you love and you'll get to where you want to go."
