I really like the concept behind nox`s character. such a sad sad sad insane old man and yet I really feel sorry for him. especially at the point when he realized he really fucked up big time in the end he can`t help but just cry for all the things he knew he have done.

Qilby killed more than half of their race by instigating an unnecessary war with the Mechasms, just to force their people off into the stars to sate his BOREDOM. One person chose himself over thousands and thousands of other innocent people. If he was going that batty insane because of his memory he should have killed himself to save everyone else. Which means not only was he greedy, selfish, and insane with a lust for new experiences, he was also a coward. He didn't deserve a better fate and he would not allow himself to find a better one - even his eternal sister rose up against him despite being a fetus in an egg.

Funny how this was actually the time when Nox was at his most powerful. This fight and the damage he sustained from it was likely the reason why Yugo stood a chance during the final battle.
Alright my art student is showing but the colors are done in an amazingly simple way! In the beginning the sun is setting and the sky is orange. It’s also really clear in the beginning that Grougaloragran is more powerful and he uses fire (orange). But as the fight goes on and Nox drains more of his power/wears out Grougaloragran, the sun sets and the sky turns blue like the time magic! God this show is so underrated.
That's the grerat tragedy of Nox's quest. In the time taken to collect the Wakfu needed to travel back to before his family's deaths, the amount of time since then will have increased, thus increasing the amount of Wakfu he needs to unsustainable levels.

at the beginning, Grougaloragran said that Nox's chronokinesis has no effect on him... he was partially wrong: it did have an effect, but not powerful enough to freeze him for a long time or endlessly. so he could only speak at the very end, when he began to unleash all his Draconic power to free himself.

It s more terrifying, because in the Wakfu Game this ability to reanimate an Ally is supposed to work during One turn only, few seconds in Real. So the fact Nox was able to reanimate 3 fighters during so much time, it s incredible

Nox is really a cool concept for a vilain. You think he's just an other sociopath who simply doesn't care about the destruction and death he's spreading, but his only goal is to reverse time so that all of the terrible things he's done to arrive there won't matter in the end. Had he been successful, he would have been a hero.
I watched the 1° season again and noticed some stuff: Nox colected wakfu for 200 years and he might been able to return you see, but the eliacube was used, with a great quantity, in several moments: when fighting against Grougal and didnt recovered any, when Yugo used to teleport to Mt. Zinit and the fight agaist Yugo. Since we dont know exactily what is the measure of time/wakfu, I still believe he could at least returned a couple of years at least.
Basically, Nox was draining his wakfu (soul) to fuel the cube as dragons are the most potent source of Wakfu in that universe but rather than let him win the dragon killed himself to prevent nox from having his power.
Was such a good show, Nox was such an awesome villain. Season 2 wasn't bad either, I need more Wakfu :D I hope Season 3 will be allowed in future some day T_T
Nox Xelor I saw that there is a three part OVA on youtube with 45 minute long eps most of the third episode is a massive fight where glowyDally and supercharged Yugo go up against Ogrest as in Ogrests chaos so t's out there and episode 3 definitely left it open for more series after that now I just want it in English on my Netflix queue

the cartoon is called wakfu, it is actually REALLY good. to understand whats REALLY happening you need to understand the dialogue. thankfully, there are a few fansubs out there
Actually, if you pay attention to the background, you would notice them going back in time, FAR longer, to the time of the flood, but he was too focused on Yugo to notice it.
The entire first season with subtitles is on thepiratebay. If you guys can't understand French (they speak pretty quickly, so I sometimes have trouble understanding it myself), you can get the whole thing off there. It's higher quality than any streaming site would be.

Not sure if they were trying to build viewers up to pitying him though. They did dedicate an episode to his backstory. I also liked him as a villain but at the same time it was irrational that he just suddenly became addicted to power, part of the backstory.
Should we point out that grougal was never a fighter? He and chibi were powerful but the fighter role were always given to Yugo and Adamai. Chibi and grougal were the scientists of the Eliatropes, so it's kinda poetic seeing him fight with Nox. 2 Powerful scientists fighting.

Ten years later but this is a French show called Wakfu. This fight happens in the first season. They've made three with a fourth currently in the works.
I cannot remember the name of the site but there's an archive with download links for all of season one with english subtitles, as well as parts of season two last time I checked.

Even with flash animation, they made Nox snap into position like clockwork. Talk about attention to detail.

Since we dont know exactily what is the measure of time/wakfu, I still believe he could at least returned a couple of years at least.
Basically, Nox was draining his wakfu (soul) to fuel the cube as dragons are the most potent source of Wakfu in that universe but rather than let him win the dragon killed himself to prevent nox from having his power.

Nox Xelor I saw that there is a three part OVA on youtube with 45 minute long eps most of the third episode is a massive fight where glowyDally and supercharged Yugo go up against Ogrest as in Ogrests chaos so t's out there and episode 3 definitely left it open for more series after that now I just want it in English on my Netflix queue

the cartoon is called wakfu, it is actually REALLY good. to understand whats REALLY happening you need to understand the dialogue. thankfully, there are a few fansubs out there
I still think the funniest thing was he gathered all that Wakfu energy for so long to only go back in time a very short time.
Actually, if you pay attention to the background, you would notice them going back in time, FAR longer, to the time of the flood, but he was too focused on Yugo to notice it.

The entire first season with subtitles is on thepiratebay. If you guys can't understand French (they speak pretty quickly, so I sometimes have trouble understanding it myself), you can get the whole thing off there. It's higher quality than any streaming site would be.

Not sure if they were trying to build viewers up to pitying him though. They did dedicate an episode to his backstory.
I also liked him as a villain but at the same time it was irrational that he just suddenly became addicted to power, part of the backstory.

He and chibi were powerful but the fighter role were always given to Yugo and Adamai. Chibi and grougal were the scientists of the Eliatropes, so it's kinda poetic seeing him fight with Nox. 2 Powerful scientists fighting.

Ten years later but this is a French show called Wakfu. This fight happens in the first season. They've made three with a fourth currently in the works.

Le soldat avec un bouclier est surement un Féca (mais je ne suis pas sur car les fécas n'ont pas un énorme bouclier dans la main)
