come to south africa everyone has one🤣🤣🤣
Me too but if their race tuned and in good condition they cost a lot of money.
@@ethanperumal0405 literally so many of them get imported to Wales its not even funny
I have a Ford escort zx2 2003 5 speed. It's really fun to drive
David Gaboda Shhhhhh It’s a secret!
One of the three most important, european designed and developed, Ford models ever, the other two being the Capri and the Focus.
These three are true all-time legends in Rallye Racing, these three describe the foundation of Ford's RS department.
Saw a mark v cosworth while in italy..... Really shows where my priorities lie when It was a highlight of the trip 😂
Everything you need to know on Dale Sr.
DO IT FOR DALE BROTHER!!!!
My 1987 and 1988 Ford Escort GT 5 speeds that I bought for $300 back in the late 90s when I started driving were my all time favorite cars!!!! Little High Output with a mini fox body kit. Kickass
Speaking about ford escort, don't forget up to speed about "ford sierra"..
I just want to hear James say up to speed on Alfa Romeo.
Bohemian rhapsody has been echoing through my head for the past 3 months, HOURLY! Such a good song!
Rip Freddie Mercury!
References made my heart happy!
I really miss my ZX2 S/R, it was an awesome car.
I had the regular ZX2 but it was modded. It was a great car! I still miss it. I raced an eclipse once and held my own. I was pretty pleased. I think he was pretty upset.
My first car was going to be a 98 Zx2 but I couldn't figure out how to drive stick, man that car was insanely fun to ride in though
Should do one for Cosworth. One of the most influential company in racing, engines/ tuning
did you notice they haven't even done Lotus yet? Cosworth would be a great ep
My first car was a 99 ZX2. Glad to see the love they got in this video
I slept with 3 escorts once.
They're in my garage now.
By that you mean burried under your garage or hanging beside your tools?
@@dickmelsonlupot7697 I was sleeping over a rag on the floor close to my toolbox. Not a comfortable experience.
-“to point aaaaa, to point bhhh!”
Had two Mk1 1300gt's when i was a kid. So much fun, taut me how do drive 'properly'.. Then had a large handful of Mk2's one with a 2.0 pinto. Great times.
I really love how the zx2 was put in. It was my first car, it was... something lol
I learned how to drive stick in a zx2. Touchy clutch made for really easy one-tire-fires haha
Notification squad, ASSEMBLE.
I owned a 1995 escort. Loved that little guy.
Ya'll got it wrong on the 1st gen American escort GT. It has a 4I 1.9L High output that was fuel injected and had hemispherical heads not a turbocharger.
They had a turbo option for a few years, though.
In around 82-84 there was a turbo option for Escorts under GT label. As well as the EXP.
Rarerer than a convertible Yugo, now..
The 1.9L H.O. Motor came out in 86 with the revised model. In GTs and EXPs as well.
We had a 86 EXP Sport Coupe, pretty fun little car I kinda wished wasn’t repoed when I was a teen.
I should do my research better then. I have a gt from 89 and a gl from 87 and thought i knew everything
Damn. I want that Cossie so bad. 😄😁
Next up to speed: Ford Focus. Please. 😁
My dad said he will build this for my starter car im excited!
I remember reading about the Ford Escort in UK car mags for years and always wondered, why didn’t we get that car over here in the good Ol’e US of A? Oh, well.
because what was a top trim sport here in Europe was most hated power plant for Pinto over the seas :P
@@RTXpl Cosworth engines?
@@WarriorsPhoto yeah them engines are reliable and tuneable as hell. PPL forget that engine was built to race in 1986 for the ford sierra RS500 cosworth and it’s the most successful racing car in history ever with 84% of races won through out its life! There’s a sierra RS cosworth on YT NOW completing the 1/4 mile in 8.9 seconds…. That just proves how good that engine from the 80’s really is!! It’s said that even Toyota copied the cosworth engine to make there 4age. Same stroke and everything!
