_This_ is why I can't own a wah pedal. All I end up doing with it is making sounds that sound like they either belong on the soundtrack to an old Pam Grier movie, or a 70's porno flick. ...but that's my problem... Great demo, as always!
My Gawd!! Thank you for a great review. Most reviews sound like crap!! Finally someone who gets good sounds and explores the different aspects of the wah sound without sounding like a metalhead on crack!!
I recently fried my old Jim Dunlap Mr Crybaby Super wha pedal. I had it for over 20 years. It is a duel wha volume pedal. To change modes one just has to click the switch by stepping hard on it and it changes from wha to volume instantly. No bending down to flip some silly little switch. It seems that they are rare birds these days and hard to find. To my way of thinking this is the best way to make a wha volume configuration. One click and you're good to go either way. They were built like a tank. Hopefully the repair shop can fix it. There are no other wha volume pedals made like that one nowadays.
There's the Hotone Vow if you're interested. Has a mode just like you described, wah and volume switched by pressing the pedal down. There's also the Morley wah and volume, but that's just a foot switch on the side.
Thanks for the info. I've looked at the Morley but I don't like the side switch. The hot tone appears to have a switch on the side to change from wha to volume. I'll have to look more closely at the UA-cam videos of it.
i got the mister cry baby super too, and right now for space i bought the Donner pedal, but im thinking in modified, and put a switch to do the chance from vol to wah
Hey man love all your videos, how often does your band play at the Brunny? I live in Coburg so its one of my local live venues (played and watched plenty of gigs there).
if i can answer that quiestion, i use firts all my drives, couse in that way the gain its always the same, in other way if i put first the volumen, i gonna lose gain and tone, couse the volumen pedal works in that posición like the volumen knob on the guitar
Hi Shane, thank you for sharing this video, i would like to ask if the product has a tru-by-bass, and does it influence the sound if not engaged. Appreciate your help mate.
Hey Shane, I recently got one of these. Seems to add quite a bit of noise to the signal, especially when used before drive. It wasn't as bad after drive but I would like to use it before drive / compression. Did I get a dud? It's not just a but of hiss it's unusable.
How do you think this would fair for ambient swells? Digging the smaller size but not micro like the AMT but couldn't tell from the video how arc of the volume actually is
Update: i bought the donner wah cry and im 99% sure it is the same pedal. Very satisfied with this pedal, for the price that i paid for it which was $58.50 untouchable in my opinion
I'm quite problematic with this pedal now. It wasn't so long till I noticed the scratchy noise and it just got worse. ANY OF YOU HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM HERE?
I bought one online and it doesnt sound ,i noticed the potswitch broken, now got the same problem with scratchy sound,i put small amount of wd40 on potentiometer and its fixed...im planning to install footswitch outside to have a quick selection of wah to volume.
Volume function: 5:00
i`ve got this pedal thanks to this video! really worth its money! thanks for detailed review
The first wah review I've seen, where Kirk Hammett was not mentioned.

How does this pedal compares to the Hotone Soul press?
Sounds killer and very tasteful playing!
Them's some fancy shoes; could you share where you got em?
Hey man love all your videos, how often does your band play at the Brunny? I live in Coburg so its one of my local live venues (played and watched plenty of gigs there).

Hello.Awesome sound and review. Before buying i wondering did you noticed some volume drop after engage the wah mod?
3:00 SHAFT!!!
great video!
Hi Shane, love your demos! Does this take a 9-V battery, or does it only operate with an external power supply? Thanks.
Makes me wanna play "Shakedown Street" everytime I hear a wah pedal.
Nice live session :-)
More clips of the band man, been missing those :)
Thanks dude. I post them mostly on facebook.com/shanesband but I might cut together an epic solo video or something in the near future :-)
Did you ever get round to doing your new rig update mate ?
Any reason for the distortion first? Nice demos btw!
if i can answer that quiestion, i use firts all my drives, couse in that way the gain its always the same, in other way if i put first the volumen, i gonna lose gain and tone, couse the volumen pedal works in that posición like the volumen knob on the guitar
Any noise with it??
nice live playing man, preferred it on the wah though🙋
Hey. I already have that to. But my adapter is not working. Can I Ask what kind of adapter did you used? And input and output voltage?
What size shoes do you take... this pedal like small, or your foot like so big
hi, this pedal is full metal or plastic construction?
Hi Shane, thank you for sharing this video, i would like to ask if the product has a tru-by-bass, and does it influence the sound if not engaged. Appreciate your help mate.
Hi, is this pedal digital or analog? Thanks in advance.
Dual purpose is cool for those like me who don't do the wah much.
Shaun Caline Hot Spice Wah & Volume Pedal unable to find this on there site
When will this be available on your store? Also what size is your shoe? Just asking so i can get an idea of the size of the pedal. Thanks.
It's already sold man sorry! I am a US Size 8-8.5 shoe. :)
+intheblues all good. Thanks anyway
Analogic or digital this wah pedal?

amazing
Groovy man!!!
By the way nice ode to Jimi!

How does this Caline pedal compare to the Hotone Soul press? They are similar pedals but different pricing.
Is this an optical pedal?
is it true bypass or buffered?
what guitar is that on the left?
Bacana a banda no final do video. Qual o ne da banda?
Does this require a battery?
Is this the same as the Donner wah cry?
Update: i bought the donner wah cry and im 99% sure it is the same pedal. Very satisfied with this pedal, for the price that i paid for it which was $58.50 untouchable in my opinion
John Lloyd How is it 5 months on?
Still working fine?
is it plastic or metal?
@intheblues who's the original and the clone between this and the donner? they're identical if you remove the name.
Caline are the "original". Donner don't do original.
What are those?
Sounds good to me.
Can i play this on enter sandman
Has it gotten crackly on you yet?
Plastic case?
gets noisy when paired to boss n joyo you need a noise gate
the intro reminds of 70's porno films. don't ask me why, all i can say is i seem to have a dirty mind, when i hear this sort stuff. thank you.
Lmao at shaft!
I'm quite problematic with this pedal now. It wasn't so long till I noticed the scratchy noise and it just got worse. ANY OF YOU HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM HERE?

it is a toy after a week it died, light on design, do not like this pedal one bit
I'm looking for a new inexpensive wah woo. My Vox wah sucks tone so bad.
