I just saw Zeparella last weekend at Roxy LA I can tell you these girls are amazing I was blown away by the sound fidelity and the Zeppelin attitude they presented.........
Great interview I have followed them for a long time. Nice to get a glimpse of them in person and I have seen Robert Plant 3 times over the years at Red Rocks in Colorado I think you should back him up in a show at Red Rocks. He only plays a few Zep tunes now and the rest is his own new and great music. That would be an amazing show Red Rocks is an amazing venue! It was cool that you got to meet him and he was that great energy you described. Cool Cool interview. Love All three of these gals and that Clementine started this. Gretchen is amazing and so is Anna Christina When the Levee breaks never sounded so good with your harmonica skill and vocals!
This was posted almost three years ago, and there hasn't been a single comment? Strange. Well, let me be the first to say then that I quite enjoyed this interview. These fine gals have been doing a great job of belting out Led Zeppelin tunes for years, and it was nice to see that they all appear to be well grounded individuals. Rock on ladies, and I hope to see you performing live in Vancouver BC at some point in the future.
I have this interview saved and watch it periodically. I love Anna's smile and the way she describes when she realizes that she's going to be learning how to play the harmonica I wish it were longer.
I love getting a glimpse of the core personalities in this band. Clementine, you always impress me and I love watching you play drums. This band could not exist without you. I thought Gretchen's comment about improvisation was provocative and I think I know where she's coming from . I would somewhat disagree, I think what really makes Gretchen so strong is that she does Jimmy Page better than he ever could. Her leads are so clean. She plays what Jimmy Page wanted to play. I personally think what really makes this reincarnation of Zeppelin magical is the bond between members that was more of a rift in the original Zeppelin. Anna you have always delivered for this band and taking on the mantle of Plant is not for the feeble hearted.
It’s clear to me that Gretchen is the leader of the band followed by Clementine. It seems to me that Gretchen feels intimidated by the Bassists that come and go. Which explains why they’re constantly replaced
Saw these musicians on the Tube, looked lke a good Zep tribute band, got tickets to the show... BLOWN AWAY! They have the Zep sound down, guitar spot on, awesome vocals, and Zeppelin isn't Zeppelin without Bonham, but damn Clementine did it! Is she Bonhan's daughter??? She pounded the skins as hard as she could all night. Just as Zeppeling could not go without Bonham, Zepparella cannot be without Clementine. Again, they had the Zep sound down, they did When the Levy breaks and sounded just like the record.
Anna is actually a really good harp player. Listen to her solo on their When the Levee Breaks. She's note for note on a song that's not that easy to play; Robert Plant's style on that song is unique, with almost no reference to the blues at all.
I absolutely LOVE their cover of When the levy breaks

Great interviewer.
They're the most impressive cover band I've ever seen
I discovered Zeperella 2 years ago and love them they are very good . ❤❤
This whole band does a great job. I liken the drummer's talent to Alice de Buhr of the first all-girl rock band, Fanny.
