In 1991. Diamond Rio did what no other country music had done at that time. They became the first country music band to have a number 1 song with their debut single.
We have farmland. My cousins and I would sing at night on that land and harmonize while singing this song. It literally gave me chills and goose bumps. Thank you for the memories, Diamond Rio. Best to all. :)
I don’t know about everyone else, but I’ve played this song a hundred thousand times and I still remember Jimmy teaching me how to play it after I got my double Glacer bender.
I guess I'm a little late to the conversation. I'm 28, but this is one of my wife and I's songs. We used to meet by a maple tree with some sandstone boulders at a halfway point between our houses. It was about a 2mi walk for both of us. It was worth every step.
And I'd consider that might've just been the filler pattern they chose behind the title. At the time I don't think digital blank space had a pattern yet, it was the 90's lol.
“Hey man, the deadline is in an hour! Have you finished that album art yet?” “Oh! Uh… yeah! Totally! Give me two seconds and I’ll get that sent to you!” *frantically opens Photoshop for the first time*

Motorcycles ain't in the middle 😂
I'm not complaining; just curious... Why is there so much blank space above the cover art?
I assume that the image would have been on the CD case, and as you may know they alternating squares signify would-be transparency.
And I'd consider that might've just been the filler pattern they chose behind the title. At the time I don't think digital blank space had a pattern yet, it was the 90's lol.
