Prayers and well wishes sometimes don't seem like enough. This is one of those times. Losing a loved one, especially a child, is unimaginable. My heart hurts for you. But just like you made mention of, we're able to work our ways to an eternal kingdom where such grief can't enter. Just suffer a little while longer and push on. It's all we can do until we hear "well done my good and faithful servant".
I had a friend that just passed away a couple of weeks ago. This was his favorite song, and every time I here it I can’t help but cry. It means so much to me now, that I can’t go anywhere without on my playlist. Thank you. Love you Fisher!

Road trip to Calgary. Long drive. Thanksgiving. My brother is freshly married and the whole family is listening to this song in the living room and I remember this song from my childhood. I'm in total bliss, eating a 10/10 thanksgiving meal and I feel real happy. Now a couple years later; they are smashed to smithereens, broken up and divorced. But this song still reminds me of when they were happy and it makes me feel just as happy as ever still to listen to it.
My wife (the country music fan of the couple) had this come on in her playlist earlier today. Well, my grandpa and grandpa used to jam to this song when I was little. All those memories came back and I couldn't help but cry like a little baby. Truly emotional and beautiful music. ❤️
This song played as my husband and I walked out of the church after we married. We hid fishing poles on the front pew. Threw them over our shoulders and headed out.😊
My mom is die hard country. None of her children followed her. We all went rock and roll instead. This is the only song that we all loved. I’ve lost 3 brothers. They just played this at work. It instantly put a smile on my face, followed by sadness. I miss my brothers tremendously. Love you guys.
About 10 years ago my grandpa bought a 1996 smokercraft fishing boat a real nice little fishing boat. Anyway he left it up at his farmhouse for 2 years and we just got it out of there and after 3 weeks of repairs and cleaning we went fishing in a big lake and used the stereo to play this song on the way to our fishing spot.
I love how the rhythm of the music follows the same as the frogs and crickets as if you really are on a lake or pond at night. Genius song writing from a hard-working group.

I found this from Tage Thompson scoring a goal, it’s the song that plays when he scores, or it is as of the last time I was watching a Sabres game and he scored.
I play this so my kids have a good example of a non vulgar love song. That way they know what to look for in the future. Someone who just wants to hang out with them. It don’t have to be fishing or frog getting but it got me their dad.

Yup
Lazy yellow moon comin' up tonight
Shinin' through the trees
Crickets are singin' and lightning bugs
Are floatin' on the breeze
Baby get ready
Across the field where the creek turns back
By the old stump road
I'm gonna take you to a special place
That nobody knows
Baby get ready, ooh
You and me going fishing in the dark
Lying on our backs and counting the stars
Where the cool grass grows
Down by the river in the full moon light
We'll be fallin' in love in the middle of the night
Just movin' slow
Stayin' the whole night through
Feels so good to be with you
Spring is almost over and the summer's come
And the days are gettin' long
Waited all winter for the time to be right
Just to take you along, baby get ready
And it don't matter if we sit forever
And the fish don't bite
Jump in the river and cool ourselves
From the heat of the night
Baby get ready, ooh
You and me going fishing in the dark
Lying on our backs and counting the stars
Where the cool grass grows
Down by the river in the full moon light
We'll be fallin' in love in the middle of the night
Just movin' slow
Stayin' the whole night through
Feels so good to be with you
You and me going fishing in the dark
Lying on our backs and counting the stars
Where the cool grass grows
Down by the river in the full moon light
We'll be fallin' in love in the middle of the night
Just movin' slow
You and me going fishing in the dark
Lying on our backs and counting the stars
Where the cool grass grows
Down by the river in the full moon light
We'll be fallin' in love in the middle of the night
Just movin' slow

I found this from Tage Thompson scoring a goal, it’s the song that plays when he scores, or it is as of the last time I was watching a Sabres game and he scored.
My dad played this all the time when I was a kid.
me and my dad love to play this when we get up really early before daylight to go fishin at the lake, its always a real damn good time
Nitty gritty dirt band is one one awesome band. Love them and their music.
One of my Grandma’s favorite songs. Rest in peace, Grandma Shorty! Love you first, more, always and forever ❤️

This reminds me of better times and a better life
Before the clown world was a complete circus.
I play this so my kids have a good example of a non vulgar love song. That way they know what to look for in the future. Someone who just wants to hang out with them. It don’t have to be fishing or frog getting but it got me their dad.
