DE make mistakes, yeah...but on top of making a free2play with fair monetisation and lots of community input they have something many big game studios haven't had for years: Passion. Steve is a drunk memelord, Reb plots revenge plots on Megan with Shy, Sheldon is...it goes on. They care. And ever since the second dream went live and stole my heart, Warframe and DE have been #1 in my edgy gamer heart, even before Minecraft and Skyrim.
I love how dreadful this sounds. Really catches the "This is where it all started" vibe. A place of nightmares for the Tenno, but a place they have to save now.
There's still blood splattered on the walls, really captures the horror that was on the Zariman. Sure it's where everything went wrong, but it's also the reason the Warframes other than Umbra can even be used. Tragedy brings out bravery.
This music fully captures the gravity of having to defend the Zariman from invaders. It’s the only thing keeping the void from spilling out into the rest of the system and with each bounty completed it feels as though, in a small way, everything will be okay.
The other derelict orokin ships within the void were shielded against it, kinda like a 3d bubble in a 4d space, the zariman got stuck in between the 4d and 3d space, thats why its so different, horrors beyond comprehension and anomalies galore

@@wonderlandnise oh no thats just the most normal part as its a big enough place for it to practically be an island of reality, and because all orokin towers are biological the indifference has a tough time warping it, so as long as its got power its “real enough” to keep itself in a bubble, and no orokin towers are just massive in and out, some dedicated to study the void however may appear bigger on the inside but that’s just because its a portal to the void, not part of the structure

To add to that, from what we learned in the latest quest i'd say that those ships might not necessarily be protected from the void and wally because it's biological (without consciousness) because Albrecht's lab was also grown with the same bio-tech and he's unable to warp it but he's able to grow his realm into it. This is because of the void portals but if ur saying the orokin ships could also have void portals we're screwed right? lol Now if the ships had consciousness he'd be able to mess with them however he liked and i'm assuming that is the real reason they were so adamant about having non conscious AI. Now since they keep adding on new things the relic drives are pretty much assumed to be in the orokin ships too at this point. So what does that mean for us? Yes they tie him down but he's literally got his fingers everywhere 🤔

Even further, they did really well with the level designs. There are so many little hidden passageways etc that don't show up on the maps, some even hidden behind sheets of plants, yet this is where you can also find little kids drawings, hammocks, etc...it fits into the lore of how the kids had to hide from the adults on the ship during the original trip when the adults all went homicidal bonkers.

I love this theme so damn much. It hits all the right notes: - A sense of dread. - A sense of the paranormal/otherworldly. - Desperation. - Fury & Rage. Like. Its wonderful. I just wish the enemies in Zariman were all unique (like Deimos) and not reused enemies.
I mean at least we've got two new enemy units for both the Grineer and Corpus factions, and it makes sense for the rest to be reused (and specifically the highest rank we've seen of them) as they were sent to take over the Zariman for themselves, or rather, their masters (The Worm Queen and Parvos Granum.) And the thrax enemies are pretty nice, despite being only two they stand out quite a lot and possess any actual enemies in their spectral form if they stay in it for longer, which shows that it really ain't just you vs. grineer/corpus, but instead it's you vs. grineer/corpus vs. Zariman threats (Thrax enemies, Void Angels).
When quinn says “Void cascade hiting critical levels, leave the area while you still can” in void cascade mission this song really fits and give that fear atmosphere
Well there's a reason for Grineer and Corpus to be there, and just like in the Void missions they get punished for their pride/greed. Nothing a good ol' Harrow can't fix!
This is one of my favourite track. I remember yesterday I played one of the mission in Zariman with my friend. The battle there was getting fiercer, then my friend was beaten and he called me for help. While I was struggling to go for him, the music at 8:40 played and it's so fit. Now it's one of the best memories of this game.
I can imagine the desperation when you inevitably know that an incoming next group of enemy factions are slowly coming up to you as you held down that x key and pray you don't fumble it 😂
@@redirmer760 Exactly. And I remembered that at that time, I was only M12 and played Chroma Prime with newbie mods, weapons and have a little experience too. So yeah, it was really desperate in that situation.
I was already anticipating the OSTs from this update’s going to be awesome since the Orokin-themed ones we already have (ie ghosts of the void) were great, and tbh they exceeded my expectations!
these zariman tracks are a bop but damn if those thrax enemies arent freaky sometimes the breakneck sprint of the centurions, their oversized carrion look and garbled screams really add to the uncanniness i remember waiting for extraction during conjuction survival and a bunch of thrax suddenly spawned right in front of me while the timer was going. it shocked me so much because what was usually a safe place was suddenly invaded by these giant fuckers
@@Nick-jt5nbccording to the Warframe wiki, if you've found canticle, then you already have the offering because you need it to find canticle. If scanning somachords doesn't give you entries anymore it means that you've found all the songs already.

This remains my absolute favorite area in the game, without a doubt. It's that feeling that, while we as the Tenno always trespass on the faction's bases and locales. The Zariman is ours, it's where we lived, it's where we grew, it's where we learned. And this time, we're the ones driving out trespassers, living or otherwise. Now if I could just kick Cavalero off the ship, it'd be a much nicer place...
Hey, Cavalero is fine. Besides at this stage of the story, i think it's fine for the mission control to be more rude, we're supposed to have done this million of times already.
The thought I get for this is "our nightmare, once in the past became our future...." Then the last half becomes a "resolute fury to ensure the horror stays within OUR history"
This place...it makes me feel sad but also impressed,shocked and curious and it's music makes it all even better because it's as if it is telling you the story of Zariman in a way,with that Angelical choir telling you that,this is what took over your home
this theme is so lit, especially when it is playing in the orbiter before I go on missions and it gets you hyped for the exterminate missions on the zariman, DE did a great job on this one
The place where the birth of your twisted existence takes place, now you're back to face the manner of twisted beings made form. When angels roam so does the man in the wall.
Imagine like an actual combat scene and then synchronize it with this tune, the output will be on a while other level like even you'll feel like damn this tune can be taken even further by adding an actual synchronized fight to it

probably my favorite thing from the update. It reminds me of portal two music a bit, really fits the combat within a forsaken ghost ship.
Ikr! They've got a choir straight from Dark Souls and a pipe organ blasting. Trully a ghost ship experience.

Try running around the map under leveled and under equipped and you'll quickly see the terror this music inspires.
