Warframe has a dynamic soundtrack that changes based on the situation you are in. This is an extended version of the Archon boss fight music (and also the combat music of the Narmer) from The New War quest (Act Two), with some custom mixes.
All credits goes to Digital Extremes, Keith Power and George Spanos.

I love that this makes you appreciate your Warframe, because once you fight the final archon and you have your frame back, you utterly *destroy* it, without even giving it a chance to defend itself.

For Narmer is like the introduction to the fact that we lost the war and we were defeated and this song is like the game basically stating that We Lost and We were Beaten

Orokin vocals and Sentient synth Archons are the perfect fusion in every way,
Yah and it makes total sense in the story to holy shit this song amazing
I really enjoyed these boss fights. It was fun to not be an immortal genocide machine for once
It feels amazing to be in a position where you have to claim your victory from the dirt and uprising I loved it so much
Think the track is tuned to capitalize on that precious sudden realization when you know then and there, you ain't the top of the food chain
And it feels really good when you get your warframe back and realize just how powerful you were

First time I heard the archon theme in the first drifter mission, literally gave me chills. I don't think I've ever heard anything so alien and unsettling in a videogame soundtrack ever.

terraria calamity mod has crazy soundtrack probably the craziest in all of gaming imo
ok but having what I think is a mix of the 3 Sentient themes (Hunhow, Sentient Tombs, Rapid Adaptation) as a background melody is actually really genius when you consider what the Narmer and Archons actually are.
The subtle bell(?)-ish sound at 0:35 is such a good motif to make it clear this is still a Sentient theme.
Honestly, the scariest thing about the Archons for me wasn't their almighty powers, or their status as gods, nor their haunting appearances.
What scared me the most was who they once were...and what they are now.
The Tenno's strongest and most important weapon...now turned against them.
Except that power was only the shadow of the shadow of tenno power,i remember the moment i got my warframe back i stomped last archon in like 5 seconds.

This music brings back that "OH SHIT!!" vibe when I first saw the Archon drop in outta nowhere.
The sheer pants shitting fear I felt when I realized what Nira was and the chase that ensued after man...
Boreal, Amar, and Nira were the most epic and terrifying addition to this game and I honestly hope we fight more Archons in the future.
Perhaps like an event the Acolytes were previously. That would be cool, when they just invade your mission.

Maybe as Sentient Liches? You would lose your progenitor warframe to become an Archon and to get it back you'd have to kill the Archon
It used to be you mowing grunts down by the hundreds with your overpowered Warframe. Now YOU'RE the grunt, and THEY'RE the Warframe!

The amount of brand new assets in this quest was simply staggering. A ton of new adaptive music, cutscenes, entirely unique enemies and boss fights, heck, the fucking tower of unum, and the unum herself, this quest is going to be incredibly hard to beat.
The recurring siren part really reminds me of Crysis 2 Insertion soundtrack

The utter terror of encountering the Archon as the Drifter and running away, then having a focus shot on Nira as this track played made it my favorite mix from the New War.
Yes, been waiting for this one! It sounded amazing during the fights, and I also like some old Warframe leitmotifs being incorporated in this one, changed and corrupted.
1:45 always reminds me of Crysis 2's theme and I absolutely love it!

I forget in what stream it was but they said we would be seeing more Archons in the future and it won't be a one off fight for just New War Replayability. I really hope they end up becoming a new Lich/Sister Type.
Edit: Oh my God I was right. There's a first time for everything. Was hoping for a new type of of Lich/Sister but the Archons are coming back. Glass half-full.

The Ram, Reborn and willing to take revenge against those who opposed the narmer.
Pazuul/Archon Pazuul had a union with Erra's body.
This soundtrack is so twisted and corrupted in a good way

Archons gave me DOOM Hunter vibes. Mechanical undead monster specifically meant to take down the Tenno, with a badass theme and an epic brutal fight with Drifter
definitely, atleast until Doomguy(or the Tenno, in this case) gets all his Gear(Warframe) back and then demolishes it like they do everything

This music gives off alot of DUNE vibes , the soundtrack made the quest wholesome. Its just that good.
Warframe is inspired by dune in many aspects, from the pschodelic substance with pseudo magical properties (the spice and kuva), tecnology having a biological basis instead of mechanical as a result of sentient machines revealing against their makers, the IAs are based on a living brain, the general artstyle of Sci-fy but instead of militaristic and square looking it looks more organic and slick

Think I'm gonna use this audio for an upcoming d&d campaign (running Curse of Strahd for some friends) and after tweaking the module with the "Fleshing Out" guide series, I think this might be the perfect music for a potential encounter that waits in the Death House. The vocals are just so haunting I think it'll work perfectly.
It reminds me a lot of the "Invader" theme going all over Crysis 2's ost (especially the Epilogue), I really REALLY loved it at the time and it stuck with me a while, I'm really happy to hear something really similar here going on.

If I'm being honest, Veilbraker remind me about XCOM 2 WotC, and archon theme just like themes of the chosen's - make you feel uncomfortable and puts you on the edge. Epic

This feels less pleasant and melodic, and more like the vocals are the souls of those slain by the Archon screaming at the Drifter to run.

The part with the female vocals reminds me so heavily of Crysis 2 Main theme... I feel like a deeper research into Hans Zimmer was performed to come up with this amazing score! Sounds great regardless!

2:26 the first encounter
U know... I got a story on this. Long ago I was playin with some folks and when we had to kill Nira, I used my trusty Felarx to farm her crystals... It worked the first time, but due to a bug the second time (after killing her minions) a door left me behind so I was unable to join my team.
Nira massacred them, as nobody of my team carried a good n proper shotgun. Man... 3 frames couldn't get her, and I was raging behind a door unable to oneshot her.
It felt like crap, but well... This is it, had to restart and go solo next time.

**SPOILER WARNING**
I think we got the shortest this quest could have actually been with the 5 or so hours. I'd say to serve the story justice it might have taken closer to twelve, but nobody's got that kid of time. However, the parts they chose to put in were perfect, and I could'nt have hoped for a better design. It ties so many things together while also paving the way for the more recent unsolved conflicts and mysteries. They were wise in ending the Sentient/Ballas storyline before even bringing the Tenno background/future into play, cause then it wouldn't be 100% the war, and there would likely be time in between the events anyway in the Origin system. I can't wait to see what happens from here! Who *is* carrying on the legacy of Narmer? who *is* the man in the wall? What is the story of the Tenno? For we've only gotten bits and peices of some of that information. (I am confident Narmer is being headed by someone, or another group, because in the Cetus Narmer missions, Konzu states that someone likely has taken that role). Imma stop now, heh. Except to say that I love how the Man in the Wall literally told the story of the New War at the end of the quest by speaking the Requiem sequence.
