I just love how a guy like kyojun openly listens to a transgender like pani sharing her story. I hope there are many people like kyojun that exists in this world, mature and has respect to any gender and also race.
I was a little surprised by your comment because I think of South Koreans as being just as liberal as Americans are. Although there are communities within America that are very opposed to the DGS community like anywhere, here in California a guy would become a social outcast if he did not respond with the same attitude as Kyojun. That is to say discrimination against someones gender or sexuality is not socially acceptable here, despite being still present in some religious communities and such.
Pani is almost my age and I look like an old man and she is a beautiful woman. Talking about the group as always Bom is the funniest (This is usual what women talk about!!), and although everyone has been polite, Kyojun even more so. May our youth follow these examples for the future. Great video giggle.
I know that Trans Day of Visibility was only a few days ago, so this is significant!! I love seeing this type of content, it helps make people feel more familiar with the trans community and helps build love and compassion for all types of people. She is STUNNING btw! When she said she was 38 my jaw dropped! It must have been hard, especially growing up in Korea in the 80s/90s, for a little trans girl. I can't even imagine what she's been through. Fighting!!

I was kinda curious abt a trans person's experience in SK currently since there is such a massive gender conflict at the moment... but they just get attacked from both sides 😭😭. I hope it gets better for everyone there
@@user-ll3lc4ek3t for many reasons. one large reason is religion, as a lot of religious people believe being trans is a sin, therefore act harshly towards them. some people think being trans isn’t a real thing and people are making it up or pretending to be another gender. and a large part of it stems from ignorance and the way they’re taught to view trans people. they understand very little about trans people, and also have heard bad things about them from the people around, therefore have negative ideas about them.
these days i am not sure korea is any more conservative the usa anymore, in fact in some ways it seems that the usa is rapidly becoming a lot more conservative than korea.
also you see very conservative attitudes all over the world. in australia we seem to be somewhere in the middle mildy conservative on some social issues but not as open as new zealand or scandinavia and alot less conservative than countries like korea or japan or the usa, but very open on others.
These three are my favourite from the GIGGLE cast and I like how they can be hilarious, but also very respectful. Thank you Pani for sharing your story with us. The situation online has indeed gotten worse regarding gender, especially because TERFs and "gender criticals" like JK Rowling are spreading their hate. Videos like this one are important for education.

One of the great things about living in Hawaii is that many here don't really discriminate against someone if they are transgender, gay, lesbian, or even cross dressers. We respect each other regardless of their life style and don't try to push one side or another on each other. I guess that's why most Asian's are 3rd or 4th generation here so open thinking and is a way of life here, compared to Korea, Japan, and China conservatism.

I respect that person as i would any human, however i wouldn't date them and you should understand why. The thing that attracts me about a female is not simply the looks, but the actual femininity that is given by her chromosomes, the actual genetics. And in the future, what if you want to have a child with your partner? Adoption is definitely an option, but i would prefer my child to carry my DNA forward. This may all sound weird, but it is simply human nature.

I thought not talking about pre-transition was common thing we do. Most of the trans people don't like or feel weird about talking or showing photos. So don't ask them to show photos if they do not feel okay with it. I hope she is not one of them. Love you all guys.
I was constantly worrying that they might ask her some personal questions that might make her feel uncomfortable, because I know that some questions about being trans can make them feel dysphoric.

i love how she so brave to do this in front of thousands of people and went through the operation despite of her parents.she carried on... where I come from the Netherlands it isn't totally acceptable yet even though we have the lgbtq thing the thing is the are so pushy in our country that isn't funny anymore and it in South Korea they aren't as pushy .and I mean it's you're life so do what you want to do

So they are a woman or a man and "trans" just describes that they transitioned to that gender (that doesn't have to mean surgery or hormones tho).

Trans people have long been discriminated against in horrible ways and that is wrong. That said thinking you are different and then taking medications and having a surgery do not change a person’s sex or gender, race, ethnicity or being human.
I would like to see something about a transabled person too. And about someone who's transracial, like Oli London. And also furries and otherkin. I think it's important to put transidentities into a broad perspective to understand the connection between feelings and identity. And we have to remain realistic about this also. You cannot really change into a different sex, species, race.
Furries don't actually think they're anything but human dude... Also you're being kinda disrespectful. There is actual science that validates being transgender. Transracial, otherkin, trans abled....hell no they are not part of the LGBTQ community. And transracial and trans Abled....trans abled especially just their existance is an insult. Being transgender hurts nobody, that's just how their brains are wired, MRI scans prove it.
@@Chiller-pc1dv Have you read any stories about transabled people? It's very similar to transgenders. It's a very persistent experience which can start at a young age. They don't hurt anyone either. Some brain scans have revealed that there could be something wrong with their brains causing the experience. But then who decides when something is a disorder or when it's just about 'being different'? In general, I think every way in which we identify has some connection to our brains and feelings. And it's not like people are being brainwashed with the idea of being transabled for example. How to deal with such identities is up for interpretation and debate. And related to transgender, there are also people who change their mind later and detransition again to their birth sex. Check #detransawarenessday.
Im not in to lgbt content and any of that i dont like it…. But i saw this for curiosity and im going to speak my point of view you can be whatever u want to be but everything its just about respect and tolerance if she feels great, good for her but you have to speak the truth if u born a man and transform ur body to look like a woman its ok but you have to tell the truth, that u born as a male or viceversa because thats important for the vast majority of people, love yourself and make the world around you better ✌🏽

Korea is pretty conservative, it’s a lot harder there compared to the west from what I’ve heard. hopefully things will get better.

Trans people have long been discriminated against in horrible ways and that is wrong. That said thinking you are different and then taking medications and having a surgery do not change a person’s sex or gender, race, ethnicity or being human.
I would like to see something about a transabled person too. And about someone who's transracial, like Oli London. And also furries and otherkin. I think it's important to put transidentities into a broad perspective to understand the connection between feelings and identity. And we have to remain realistic about this also. You cannot really change into a different sex, species, race.
Furries don't actually think they're anything but human dude... Also you're being kinda disrespectful. There is actual science that validates being transgender. Transracial, otherkin, trans abled....hell no they are not part of the LGBTQ community. And transracial and trans Abled....trans abled especially just their existance is an insult. Being transgender hurts nobody, that's just how their brains are wired, MRI scans prove it.
@@Chiller-pc1dv Have you read any stories about transabled people? It's very similar to transgenders. It's a very persistent experience which can start at a young age. They don't hurt anyone either. Some brain scans have revealed that there could be something wrong with their brains causing the experience. But then who decides when something is a disorder or when it's just about 'being different'?
In general, I think every way in which we identify has some connection to our brains and feelings. And it's not like people are being brainwashed with the idea of being transabled for example. How to deal with such identities is up for interpretation and debate. And related to transgender, there are also people who change their mind later and detransition again to their birth sex. Im not in to lgbt content and any of that i dont like it…. But i saw this for curiosity and im going to speak my point of view you can be whatever u want to be but everything its just about respect and tolerance if she feels great, good for her but you have to speak the truth if u born a man and transform ur body to look like a woman its ok but you have to tell the truth, that u born as a male or viceversa because thats important for the vast majority of people, love yourself and make the world around you better ✌🏽
