Your playing was on point at all times, even while bravely shifting pitch and start times of notes, as well as playing a bass track, earned yourself a fan for solid composition and staying true the character of the material.
Holy Crap! Just found your channel, SUBSCRIBED! I didn't even know there was vibrato attachments via synth. It added a color to the music that was just incredible to say the least. Keep it up man, your work is awesome.
@@GLASYS I was lusting after the 6, then fell in love with the Rev 2 -- but honestly after hearing your tone with the effects pedals, I'm pretty sure I must have the 6 module now :)
yeah uhh i kinda need to get a synth like right now after seeing this like this is amazing and i love everything about it and i’m so grateful that it has been put into the world
Michael - Hmmm... the original is in 3/4 or 6/8 so 5/8 would probably be more accurate. But in music theory it really doesn't matter so long as it's 5 of some multiple of two. It would just be written with different note lengths.
I'd call it 5/8. Generally I call it 5/4 if the pulse feels like an even 5 or if the pulse falls between those quarter notes like in mission impossible (in other words, if you can count it as 10/8 like 1231231212, then that's 5/4). I call it 5/8 when the pulse is falls on the 8th notes, but on uneven counts of them. I count this as 12123 with the 1s being accented rather than just 5 beats.
I actually have a song on my channel that uses a lot of 5/8. It's called Mother, and the main riff is 5/8, 5/8, 2/4, 5/8, 5/8, 1/4. How you count it is 12123 12123 1 2 12123 12123 1 and then repeat.
If you did a whole album of full length covers I would definitely buy it. I just listened to this whole video for like the third time and I'm officially obsessed with your instrument choices, arrangements, etc.
I have nothing to add except that this is fucking incredible. The nostalgia of these amazing songs combined with the synth arrangements is an amazing feeling. Keep up the good work!
@@GLASYS I was wondering, did you do any tracking or any playback sorta thing or is everything live? Also, what's the device you used for vibrato in midna's lament called? You get some really great sounds out of those synths
3:00 to 3:05 is an amazing section filled with intense and emotional synth. Thanks for making this. I've listened to this part several times in a row, and I hope you'll make more music like this specific part.
Beautiful playing! Lost woods was the first video game sheet music that I learned on piano as a kid, hearing your rendition and seeing the notes play out was quite moving, it makes me want to get back into playing the piano.
so, so, good man, really awesome shit. I am a huge zelda fan and these covers were fantastic. The synth choices were perfect, and the whole vibe was jammin. personally I think that if SMG3 ever comes out these instruments and sounds would be perfect for the game. Totally awesome.
These arrangements are so class, and your left hand technique (as others have said before me) is nothing short of special. Wonderful presentation, sir!
Damn, doing both the drums and bass line with one hand was amazing. And during Midna's Lament, it took awhile to realize the finger clip thing was a vibrato controller for the upper keyboard.
You have earned a subscriber my friend, I’m a pretty big metal head, but I’ll take a listen to anything, and this is awesome , combining one of my favorite video game music and series with some chill beats and synths, freakin sick is what I have to say! Bravissimo!
The only bad thing about this video is that it ends... quickly... Amazing job! True to originals and very atmospheric! Can't wait for more music from games ;)
Any really. I think Megaman would be really cool with your Arcadia. Castlevania also has lots of really nice tunes! Other than that any of the old JRPGs, like Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, maybe Earthbound. But I'll be happy with any, there are so many games with great music, especially Japanese ones.
Great left hand work! Rhythm and bass with one hand! That's killer! Well done!
Thanks Barnaby, really appreciate your comment. You work is absolutely amazing!🙌 🙏
My jaw dropped.
ayyy barnaby !!! love your work man

Thanks for doing that ↑
Yes
3:35 is sheiks theme. But thank you so much!
the coordination some people have amazes me. i bet you can tie like 50 shoelaces at once
Lost woods gives me chills.
Impressive left hand technique on bass n drums thing.
Thanks James!
Great Fairy Fountain gives me chills everytime
man you really need to develop that dark world cover, it's amazing
retweet
He kinda did. Check the Chase Bliss Dark World trailer.
The middle of "The Dark World" track is pure eargasm.
This is what the Great Fairy Fountain needed. After all these years.
Woah, I've never seen that thing during midna's lament that was letting him bend the pitch like a violin vibrato. Whatever it is that's awesome.
If you like that, go check out the Roli Seaboard. Cutting edge shit.
What is that thing on your finger? That would be great to have for boards without aftertouch.
@@DemsDaBrakes1996 The osmose coming out by expressive e is similar, but with a lot more sensitivity
I never seen such a beautiful left hand technique, sir, you are a hero.
Thank you! 🙏🙂
Can someone make a 15 minute extension of the Dark World theme? That was absolute gold
This version of Zelda giving me energy at morning lol . I'm ready to go to work . Metroid cover please .
Please and thank you! :)
I can't even tell you how happy I was to hear Midna's Lament at the end.
Edward Hyena oh shit i havent reached the end but this hypes me up.
Man, I forgot how beautiful Sheik's Theme is... You're a gift to the world. Thank you for existing.
I appreciate you Danyo, thank you! 🙏❤️
*Hey Listen!* ..... To these awesome Zelda songs on synths :)
❤️🙏
I see what you did there.
GET OUT NAVI, I KNOW, IVE ALREADY PLAYED THIS GAME ABOUT TEN TIMES!
I can see Link cruising down in the dark world in a pretty funky way
Tis is honestly one of my fav vids on UA-cam. Even after a year I just keep coming back. It's such a great cover

I figured it to be just emulating Zelda music. Dude that intro was so unexpected, I almost fell out of my seat!!
this is some next level zelda shit
