Your creativity is wonderful. As a tip for people wanting to dry flowers fast and retain more colour, use your microwave. Use layers of flat (no lines) cardboard, cotton fabric pieces and felt. Lay your flowers between 2 pieces of cotton surrounded with layers of felt and cardboard, I do about three tiers to do more at once. Place a bowl on top of your layers and microwave for 20-30 seconds, checking after each interval. When flowers are flat with no moisture they are ready, bulky flowers take longer. The other option is to use silica gel that helps keep even more true colours and shape, just have to be very careful with very delicate flowers.
That's so great I wanted to go with resin to preserve my flowers that were given by my husband but I got this diy better than resin . I loved it . Now I'll preserve flowers with this diy💖
hiii! for anyone else watching who is going to press flowers or if you’re planning to do it again, use regular paper instead of parchment paper! parchment paper will not absorb moisture from the flower, and it will look soggy
How long does it last the dried flowers? So much thanks you for this wonderful tutorial, I love everything you put and design the flowers in frame💜 Thanks you🌻
The silver dollar - what you have there is after the seed pods have dried and the seeds have fallen out. I had a bunch of silver dollar plants that grew at our house. Before the seeds pods dry they are green.
Hey!!!the clear leaves your using are called Lunaria !!or the silver dollar plant😊 You're right the other eucalyptus variety is exactly that,a eucalyptus 😊
These all turn out to be what was in my mind and thank you so much for explaining it so beautifully and clearly. I am gonna try the garland one, but I am so skeptical, I don't want the roses to get discolored because I live in a humid environment, and Idk that this will work or not but just wanna ask that does the drying process in a humid environment will affect the roses? Will it work? Great work btw✨ Lots of love ❤
It's late ik but for other who're wondering too, dried flowers will discolour a bit no matter where you stay. But it'll look good anyway so don't worry about it. The thing I'm worried about in a humid place is growing of mold if it's not aired/stored properly. That's what happened to my flowers 😢. Few tips on how to prevent that is to cut off the ends of the stem where they're kind of wet and keep the flowers in a well ventilated place but u should probably look up more tips on mold prevention while drying flowers
I bought some dried baby's breath flowers and I'm really worried to just hang them on the wall cause they're really fragile and could be a mess when the petals fall on the floor 😭 until I saw these amazing ideas! Seriously thank you ❤️❤️❤️
I'm interested to do the garland, but one question tho isn't the flower will get so dry and change colour and the petals will start fall down eventually after 2-3weeks ?
Hi Joli. I would suggest you to use a different kind of paper that will take up the moist better. Love the 3d piece never seen it before! Great idea i will try it out 🥰
What is that song in the beginning, it’s so nice! Also did any of the flowers get moldy after you finished them? I’m so worried my flowers will get gross 😂
And no they didn’t! Some continued to get brown afterwards but no mold :) to prevent this, use regular paper instead of parchment so it can absorb the moisture
hi. how do you keep the volume of ur dried flowers? i hang my flowers upside-down to dry and that makes them lose the volume due to gravity, they kinda close up :/
My boyfriend surprised me with a flower boquet yesterday and I have an idea now on how to keep them, thanks love you!
So cute 🥺🥺
Won't the flower wither and fall?
Same !!
It's silver dollar- the green leaves that you used while the white one is Lunaria - the most expensive dried flowers, I think. Love this video btw.
Thank you SO MUCH!🥺❤️
@@JoliNoelleDavid Beautiful! How does the coasters hold up either heat or condensation of the drinks?
Silver Dollars were very popular in the late 70s as decorations. I was a kid but every house I went to had them in vases lol
Wow, your writing is phenomenal. And love seeing my baby em on here
Hello! It's so cool to see someone doing what they love, pressing flowers has been one of my favorite things to do

Buying a dehydrator, even second hand, is completely worth it. Flowers and herbs keep their color and everything keeps their shape really well.
Awesome thank you for the suggestion!❤️
Can you please let me know how to preserve flowers using dehydrator

Does drying really preserve the flowers for years or it will rot eventually? Btw, you got much creative I wish I am too.
What kind of paper did you use with the frame?
Thank you 😍
great tip! How long does the color hold for the flower? Thank you so much
I'm interested to do the garland, but one question tho isn't the flower will get so dry and change colour and the petals will start fall down eventually after 2-3weeks ?
The flowers I used were fine and the petals stayed intact! :)
