- Cooling system pressure tests, leaking coolant you might WANT to WATCH this! POWERRRRRRSTROKE gang, what is UPP?!?!?! Hope you all are well. This is procedure is so important when trying to find a coolant leak. Unless your leak is very obvious then fine but if it is small, this is a MUST to have and do. Some times its the smallest traces of coolant that spike the red flags. What kit are you guys using? Did you have to get the adapters like me or did you get a master kit?? This answered a question for me. The test, as I suspected, needs to be done on a hot engine. I am using coolant but cannot see and leak. I use a Stant tester when cold and it holds pressure. The observation on hearing the pressure bleed off when opening the d-gas bottle while hot on a properly sealed engine is a good test technique. Subscribed!
I have 2005 6.0 L power stroke, and I did the pressure check only to find out I had blown head gasket on a standard engine! Thanks for the video as always another great one!

Never on a PS but I have on other vehicles. It’s the only way to find some leaks.
Last week was a 6.4 fresh shortblock installed. Pour in coolant, 20 min later got drips under the front. Porous used Dorman front cover was the culprit. Real bugger to have to rip the radiator out again, after just putting the motor in. Single turbo sounds great though.

I have pressure tested many vehicles, and it gets really hard to pump that thing past about 15-16PSI.

Challenge for you... 2011-2014 Garrett Turbo... How do you tell by part number or other if you are getting the Updated Bearing Cage in New Turbo?

My 6.0 has a coolant leak at the front of the engine. I assume it's the radiator but had ford pressure test and said they couldn't find a leak. The other morning I bet I had at least a quart of coolant in the driveway??? Has a new water pump from bpd. Anyone have an idea what it could be, I could literally see coolant in the fan shroud so how could it not be the radiator, all the hoses are new as well.

Just make one. You could probably make a better one for cheaper
Look up Larry b… sells Awsome military style connectors… then pick up some 2/0 welding cable and press copper lugs on the ends with quality heat shrink. You will never have to touch them again.
What a coincidence, I have the same year only an F450 with a voltage drop on that cable. The dealer said no longer available.
