It's the first 2 minutes from the launch trailer! I was so moved when I first heard this song. My theory is that this is going to play during the ending sequence after the final trial, it just has that feel to it. Please enjoy :)
My next upload will be in about 2 weeks and it will be farewell to Shadowbringers, a medley of ShB melodies :)

This is definitely going to be a song to come back to once you hit credits and just cry, honestly. Or maybe it IS the credits theme, in which case, oh no. LOL
This really does sound like something that would be played during an epilogue... it's made me really feel like Endwalker is the end more than anything else has so far. 😭 I'm feeling a lot of emotions, but I thank you for them! This is really beautiful!

I love this song so much. I especially love the section starting from "Morning rises" and how it references A Realm Reborn, Heavensward, Stormblood and Shadowbringers
@@Lilybellmusic The part that makes me truly emotional is that this is actually the WoL's song. They're singing the first two verses, because they're alone - but they can still see, hear, and feel their comrades, everyone who is walking with them to the end, even if their bodies can't be there.
And then it switches to those people singing about the WoL, offering comfort and reminding them of their strength as they walk.
We really weren't alone the whole time.
This is my best guess at the lyrics:

A New Chapter Begins, As An Old Story Closes 📖📕🏞
The winds of autumn blows as gracefully as they did when I arrived here in this town, and while I ready myself for the journey ahead with a bittersweet song in my heart, a tear falls my eye,
I lower my head so that no one sees me while I cry but it's a joyful emotion the memories playback in my mind as I begin to smile,
And the memories of friendships I cast myself into throughout the many seasons, give me hope for this new adventure as well as many reasons,
As to why no matter how tough things may get, I can't give up on myself, no I can not quit, far too many memories hold me to this city, but what can you do when where you are no longer feels like home?
My mother once told me: "go where your heart guides you, throw caution to the wind, traverse this life in faith, learn and grow from your mistakes, but most of all go wherever home is, go where you belong, go where you feel comfort and where you feel safe"
And now by those words I abide, a daily reminder of how I chose this new journey at this point in my life;

I'm a man who's heart is on the open road, seas, and skies, a traveler who seeks freedom and the call of adventure to see the beauty of the world with my very own eyes,

QAQ This is going to make me miss the story so much. Even though, eventually all tales must come to their end, the whole Hydaelyn and Zodiark story will be one I will never forget. But as the song says, we must forge ahead and see what the unknown future holds for us.
Someone better make a recap video from 1.0 to 6.0 so I can watch it and feel nostalgic in 5 years lol
Once I am done with end walker story line and leveling what I want I will probably do a new game plus to recap the whole story been playing since the beginning of the game and I must admit that not doing it freshly like most of the new players that are coming into the game my memory can be hazy on some parts I know that I've enjoyed all the story and that I will enjoy it sgain

Endwalker is one of the last things tying me to everyday life, what a lovely creation. Cannot wait to behold it.
To think, emet has been harboring all these sadness in his heart. Trying to relive the days where he and his friends are still alive.
The character development in FF14 is amazing. Even Gaius had his 'redemption' arc at the end of ShB.

Okay, I was on the verge of tears for the entire song but the inclusion of Torn From the Heavens at the end just absolutely broke me. This is an incredible piece, you've built so much upon just two minutes of official composition, and you've managed to convey such emotion and love for every single note involved. This deserves to be heard by every fan of the game, it's just so powerfully beautiful.

Hello everyone, thanks for your lovely comments! I've been asked few times for sheet music and midi for bards so please read below:
Sheet music: I am very bad at reading sheet music so I never use one and I don't know how to notate it either. All my uploads are entirely improvised, sorry :(
Bard MIDI: While all my songs are played by sending MIDI notes to virtual instrument, the actual midi files would be way too complex for FF14 bards to play. That being said, I'm looking into creating a simple MIDI file for this specific song! It might take a while but please look forward to it. Yoshi cried live then the The launch trailer was posted with this masterpiece of a music. I just can't... I mean i literally cried when the song pops near the end, that chills and feeling of epic rushes just like when i confronted Emet at the end while Handed over the axe by Adbert. Its a culmination of the journey we had from 2013 god this is gonna destroy me again and I love it. It has a special place in my heart, the developers who truly love this game and care for the community to the wholesome community, I'm grateful to be able to experience this masterpiece of a game and treasure its soundtrack. Thank you for bringing this cover it truly is a Gem!

I'm honestly expecting a scene somewhere during the Endwalker credits where the WoL gets to meet Yoshi-P (the character who shows up during the Rising event) who breaks the fourth wall yet again and thanks the players for sticking by the game and supporting the developers over all these years.

The song really does give me vibes of an ending song, and even more so in piano form. This was quite beautiful. This carries the same bittersweet feeling the original version invoked in me, but honestly the piano really helps dial up the bit of melancholy I feel from the song

But once the expansion drops, first thing I'm doing is going to Ul'dah and unlocking Reaper before I spend some time getting it up to 80 so that I can take it through the story.
...There's no doubt in my mind that this journey is going to drive every last one of us to tears by the end, though.

Update, after finishing Endwalker: Well Well Well... Technically?

I play MMOs for maybe.. 13-14 Years? But never have a expansion the same feeling like Endwalker, the end is near the final chapter it feels so real not like WoW or other MMOs where every addon is like.. "Oh a near apocalypse? oh no.. what ever." We start this road in ARR and soon we see the end of this journey.
And so the final 24 hours begin.

Meteor: *stares and cares for it*
Many of our WoL who is a second away from going feral: *immediately eats it*
