Hi Friends! Spooky season is upon us so I thought I would share a project I'm working on. This is a super easy skull granny square with a lacy join. I attempted a scull last year after just getting back into crochet & it was a pain. Your skull seems so much easier! Your cats should have scared away that bird that was messing with you. 😹

Hello Roz... I started to crochet from around 12yrs old but as I got older I learned how to read and understand patterns , however ; there's nothing better than hands on tutorial . I'm so glad I found your channel which I've Ben following for about a year or so and love 💘💗💕 it . I love the idea of a solid granny with the skull motif added on after but both is easy to do . I would love to see you do the same for Xmas with Mr or Mrs claus 🤶 that would be so cool . Love love great job . Have a great day .

@@PlayHookywithMeok have a question on the round of half double crochets all around, how many on each side ? (Including 2 hdc in the corner ?) Because when I do next round of sc I'm coming up short 3 stiches ? I've done it over and over probably 4 times.. I'm only getting 16 along the sides ..if the first row after the skull has ( on one side ) 3 in corner, 1 DC, 4 hdc, 1 Dc,3 in corner that's 12 then next round ( round of hdc) on one side has .. 2 in corner,then 1 in next 12 stitches , then 2 in corner, that's 16 , how then is sc round only needing one extra stitch ( because 19 are needed ) am I doing something wrong ughhh help lol hope this makes sense

Love this pattern and all your work . I am a fairly new crocheter and get distracted easily . I would find it less distracting if you wouldn't count along with each stitch . I do love your tutorials though 😊

@@dawnamendola8690 you should have 16 on the hdc round . How many are you getting on the sc round ?

It is a cotton called “I love this cotton yarn “ which is a weight 4 yarn (worsted) . This brand is a 4 ply yarn .
It is 97% cotton, 3% polyester.
