I'd be really curious to hear from Jordan how well his deck does, maybe even in different metas if he's tested that. My own Sissay Superfriends deck in a more casual meta has always struggled because it's a lot more creature heavy due to the casual nature, so it was really hard to get Sissay's power up high enough to be useful. I love the idea of her being this combo tutor very late in the game to finish, but also being a toolbox to tutor out stuff like Ashiok at instant speed like here. Maybe I'm just building my deck wrong or is it really more the meta that stops it from working for me?

Dockside token isn't multicolored. And I think he was one mana short of casting Feather, Heat Shimmer on Feather, Sunforger and Psychotic Fury on the token.
Is there a reason Jordan doesn't run Godo/Helm combo in Sisay? I find it to be the most consistent and easiest to set up combo for her. It only takes 1 Sisay activation, 2 with a Torpor Orb in play, the end step before your combo turn
I would argue the Nicol bolas + Aminatou + oath of teferi route is better as 5 mana from bloom tender, dockside extortionist, or faeburrow elder will win you the game on the spot if you have sisay out. Doesnt involve going to combat or expensive equip costs and is super hard to interact with because of it relying off plainswalkers. Also has the cool caviot of creating infinite mana, exiling your opponents hands and permanents and, if you have ashiok in your deck, exiling their library and graveyard. I will say Godo is a decent option though. I am not in particular a fan of the way he built his deck as he was running expensive walkers that really didnt accelerate his win con or stop other people from winning dramatically.
You put effects that shuffle your graveyard or hand into your library so you can keep going. Usually it is Elixir of Immortality. Ulamog and Kozilek works when you discard them to handsize. Torbran triples the damage. And you can just win the game with Lab Maniac, Tassa's Oracle and Jace.
Adam could have won there right? I'm hoping I'm not just crazy. But he could have played the dockside played feather made a hasty token equipped sunforger and give it doublestrike for 14 damage against 10 hp.
Kind of sad that Adam oversaw the kill in the Dockside turn, giving his 6/2 hasty token double strike via psychotic fury. But glad feather did so well and imo won the round.

However, between the graphics and the crazy vibrant playmats, I found this episode harder to follow gameplay. I was too distracted with all the images. You guys should get uniform custom playmats of the Chanel logo or something to causes less of a visual distraction maybe.
I’m guessing Joseph is new to Niv. Tell him that’s not the way to play the deck, just tapping out and running Niv out there repeatedly. You don’t want to cast Niv until it’s winning time WITH interaction/protection/counter spells up. Instead, what you want to do is play a draw-go game, ramping and sculpting your hand, and defending yourself when you’re attacked (I use bounce spells primarily, since the threat of getting their creature bounced often means opp’s learn not to attack you. Or pillow fort cards like Propaganda and Silent Arbiter). Then, when you’ve drawn a bunch of cards and sculpted a strong hand, and you’ve got mana to cast Niv, cast a Curiosity effect, AND defend the combo, you go for the win. And not until. Niv is a mana intensive, brittle combo. You’ve got to have interaction up to defend it. Good game guys!
Challenge: Play a match with Demonic Constellation without Thassa's Oracle, and a match without Demonic Constellation with Thassa's Oracle. Both matches should be played with the same decks.
What would be the point of this challenge? Demonic Consultation without Thassa's Oracle can still win with Lab Man or Jace, Wielder of Mysteries, and even without those, is an instant speed tutor (although with a huge potential downside). If you're running Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation, there's a greater-than-zero-percent-chance you're running Tainted Pact as well, so Oracle still has a win now card tied to it.
How about an Edric infinite turns combo with thassa or conjures closet and eternal witness or Archeomancer. Or a Chainer Dementia Master deck with Xia dun the one eyed+ Solem sim + bubbling muck + amulet of vigor + Chainer for near infinite mana. Also of course k'rrk and Gary and Chainer etc.
As Adam mentioned, we recorded this video a few weeks ago when we were still comfortable meeting in groups fewer than 5 people; however, moving forward the gameplay footage will be over webcam. We will be using background footage from our streams in order to get the gameplay content for future videos
The feather deck really needs Chance of Glory since its a sunforger deck. If it had that card the feather deck would have won this game. It combos with angels grace for an extra turn with out dying and both cards can be tutored with sunforger
ya he tutored a pyroblast via sunforger... maybe a other in indestructible spell would be a better option. Then he would lose "sheltering light" but jorden need to pay the pact
Sisay player: you should be running Aminatou instead of Jace. She is just better. Additionally, you should put derevi in there as you can go tap faeburrow, tutor derevi, untap faeburrow, tutor aminatou, flicker derevie, untap faeburrow, tutor nicol bolas, flicker derevi, untap faeburrow, tutor oath of teferi, and then win in a plethora of ways.
@@greatbrandini3967 That he can and the outcome is i.e the same. However aminatou is 3 mana and gives you three colors while jace is 4 mana and gives you one. Aminatous abilities are generally better and her win is more consistent; you will win on the spot if you choose the aminatou combo. With jace you have to pass the turn with them not having permanents or cards in hand and then you have to spend 3 turns killing with commander damage. Aminatou creates infinite mana, can tutor out your entire deck and give you as many planeswalker activation triggers as you want. With this i bring out ashiok and exile their entire libraries and graveyard and then pass the turn to win. Much quicker win, more synergistic, more reliable, and just overall better
I gotta be honest, I think Feather being turned at Bill to alpha him instead of Jordan was a play mistake. Between those board states the Sisay deck's was just far more gummed up and full of value Feather was just not going to be able to deal with given another few turns. Add to that how hard Jordan tried to get rid of Feather that turn and you know how scared of it he was, he was trying to stop an alpha strike he couldn't survive. I understand that Kambal was draining Adam out and it was putting him to a low life total as well, but Bill was also immediately killable by Feather (even holding up spells to not get drained he was within reach, or a single removal prior to combat could have opened up his ability to cast) as well and while it's not that he didn't have plenty of resources, so did Jordan, and the extent of his resources was far more known. By killing Bill instead of Jordan you get rid of an unknown amount of problem and keep a problem you *know* you can't actually deal with. I think Adam was in a hard place either way, but I think a 1v1 vs Bill and Kambal was more winnable than the 1v1 he had lined up with Jordan. Possible the biggest play mistake was no one ever removing Kambal off a table with lots of non-creature casting imo.

Niv is a mana intensive, brittle combo. You’ve got to have interaction up to defend it. Good game guys!
great game. Niv almost stole it there.
Feather was so close!!!!!!!
Quick question: why isn't Feather running Teferi's Protection? It is searchable with Sunforger and it's a reasonable card in the deck.
Because that feather list is horrible? No blinks, no etb synergies
Challenge:
Play a match with Demonic Constellation without Thassa's Oracle, and a match without Demonic Constellation with Thassa's Oracle.
They do say its a casually competitive channel :-)
Way more enyojable to watch
Once he played jace he would of won but he decided to try and kill feather instead of winning?
Mason Rocco are we assuming he runs oath of teferi?
4:48 & 6:07 Thought this was a webcam game to prevent spread of COVID-19
We are doing webcam magic now, this one wa just recorded a while ago before quarantine started for us
As Adam mentioned, we recorded this video a few weeks ago when we were still comfortable meeting in groups fewer than 5 people; however, moving forward the gameplay footage will be over webcam. We will be using background footage from our streams in order to get the gameplay content for future videos
Feather did so awesome! I like my feather deck but I feel like I keep getting horrible luck.
Wow, what a game
The feather deck really needs Chance of Glory since its a sunforger deck. If it had that card the feather deck would have won this game. It combos with angels grace for an extra turn with out dying and both cards can be tutored with sunforger
That was an awesome game
Why Jordan didn't get teferi oaths to finish the game early
Cool stuff
Kambal g g...need more like it...can we get a deck tech
Why not attack with the token and give him double strike ??
Jordan didnt pay the Pact of Negation cost or am I missing something?
Pact was countered
ya he tutored a pyroblast via sunforger... maybe a other in indestructible spell would be a better option. Then he would lose "sheltering light" but jorden need to pay the pact
@@spowox gods willing was the optimal choice i think
Sisay player: you should be running Aminatou instead of Jace. She is just better. Additionally, you should put derevi in there as you can go tap faeburrow, tutor derevi, untap faeburrow, tutor aminatou, flicker derevie, untap faeburrow, tutor nicol bolas, flicker derevi, untap faeburrow, tutor oath of teferi, and then win in a plethora of ways.
Nicol Bolas can make non-legendary token copies of himself using Jace's ultimate
@Trevor Pister Do you have a list you can share?
Amazing!
great game
Wack I see that Feather deck!
Feather is powerhouse here. Sisay should thank to Feather for eliminating those two :D Niv-Parun was a bit greedy...
wow, that feather :o
I love the playermats. I want one :(
Soon
Wao, excelent match
So, if it was me playing Feather, after the e jordan's attack I would totally kill him just because of the rage... Nice play
Let’s be honest we are all cheering for the Feather deck.
Larry Byrd I don’t know about a cheater. It was an honest mistake. Also I was cheering for the deck. Not the player.
@Larry Byrd adam tapped the sol ring. he paid
@Larry Byrd he paid
