My biggest takeaways: 1) I'm not going back to sectioning my hair before washing (made process longer and no real benefit for me). 2) I can just plait my hair after washing to stretch it a bit rather than spending another couple of hours doing a roller set. How do you keep single strand knots out of your hair? Those are the devil with mine! Even though I keep my actual natural hair braided for protection, I still get them, and consequently have to cut that part of the hair off. I can not retain length because of this. Any suggestions? Twisting my hair doesn't work to keep them away either.

Jamaican Black Castor oil is known to strengthen the scalp/hair follicle . Also could use Aloe Vera plant to sooth the scalp. So you could apply the Aloe plant directly to your scalp then seal in the moisture with the Castor oil .

It’s wash day for me and that’s exactly what I’m doing. Put in some plaits ,let it dry overnight and puff it is.
So simple! I’ve been leaving plaits in since I work from home. I put a hat on for the gym and that’s it 😂
I prefer to wash n go or three-strand twist. Other styles get my hair webbed badly.
