They do have talent. My issue with many people in this song isn’t about talent or lack thereof.
Well you do not have to lack talent to fake your way through your artistic life. In fact having great talent puts you in much greater risk to do that. This doesn't feel like someone calling someone else out for lacking talent.
This feels like someone being disappointed how they waste it.

I mean maybe your just playing off the "death to mumble rap" song to take a shot of those fans, (cuz most of those types of people would click a video like this). You know the ones who can't separate Rap from, uhh Marketing, (which this song seems like its also doing [Marketing]).
Like I don't think Most of the UA-cam rap scene has ever been about art, and the little that was is basically gone now.
But if those are the points your going for that could've been conveyed way more poignantly. This song just feels like empty space, (much like most things UA-cam rap related).

Fantasy, has always been in the rap game. Whether it’s people portraying themselves suave rich drug dealer or hardened gangster. People listen to the music to indulge in it. Nerdcore just another fantasy so wouldn’t say it’s really con. Just easier to make like a lot of rap music and targeted towards nerds. Anyway good song and props to you for expressing your opinion.
People who did that and weren’t that are what they called “phonies” and “cap”. It has always been a negative to rap fantasy. Even still. That’s not an accurate comparison anyway. Big difference between rapping about a lifestyle you wish you lived and rapping about a cartoon character. Not comparable items.

As someone who actually enjoys the pokemon cyphers I still 100% agree that they arent actual art. I know theyre pandering I’m just enough of a Pokemon nerd to still like them anyway. This song hit every shot it fired
I think this song has more to do with the type of people who are behind the music than just Skeem being "edgy" about the type of music these other artists make. Like; a problem with the 'artist' than the actual art. (Even if skeem doesnt like that type of art) Thats how I interpret it from skeem's side of things anyway hence the title of death to youtube rap. I could be wrong tho, skeem is pretty cryptic with his lyrics (no pun intended)
