After doing the COPS test , The CAPS test, and finding out I am A year of the Dragon, Month of the Rabbit, and Hour of the Dragon, also Aries, and ISTJ (MBTI) with a splash of Holland IAR. My dream job is 3rd shift Custodian. Wow! No more guessing. Thanks!
Hi. I want to learn RIASEC. The questions, coding of them to arrive at the results and basically an in-depth learning of Holland's Career Themes. Please do suggest resources on this.
@ladderinyourstocking You're the one being "unrealistic" here! While MBTI goes further, the theory (job choice reflects personality) puts the right people in the right job, by combining personal interests w/corresponding vocational needs. W/150 MILLION PEOPLE AND THOUSANDS OF JOBS..so much for the discouraging diversity! It also provides topological workplace insight, as well as an overlapping inventory (w/primary, secondary and tertiary levels) of a persons interests. So much for homogeny, too!
This theory seems to promote an homogenous environment within organisations. I am skeptical about the benefits of having all similar personality types in the same industry. This video seems unrealistic and discourages diversity in workplaces. It seems that group think would be inevitable if all people chose career paths based on their "personality type", beliefs and values.
