For many years I had two huge staghorn ferns in Germany, maybe 1,50 meters in diameter, beautiful!
how good staghorn gern grow in germany? i have 2 huge holttumii and 3 coronarium(1 medium divide from mother plant), and big ridleyi, willinckii, and bifurcatum and medium Elephantotis and Wallichii, and last small Grande still young 1 have only 1. Elephantotis, Bifurcatum, coronarium and holttumii are easy to grow in my country Malaysia, wallichii are hard to grow.

I had a beautiful staghorn bifurcatum that was growing like a ball easily 6 foot in diameter when I lived in FL/AL but when I moved to PA I left it behind because I had no where to keep it. Just broke my heart!!

Mine do well for maybe a year…then kaput…they die🙀! I recently bought artificial stags…they’re doing quite well thank you very much!😂
