This is a gentle neck nodding exercise. The hand on the neck is not pressing anything but monitoring for excessive tightness. You nod a small amount, hold 5-10 sec, and repeat 10x. Hope that helped!
I feel dizzy doing this (not spinning vertigo). It feels like my head can’t handle the weight of head. Is that just weak muscles? Like when I lift my head from a pillow in a laying position I can only it for 25 seconds. I also have a forward head posture. On some days I don’t have any symptoms. The last days I did a lot of neck exercises from dr Mendel and I think I over did it and irritate the vetegbras. Like when I touch c1 or c2 it hurts.
You may need to see a professional PT that specializes in manual therapy. I would recommend Gwen Jull style exercises and discontinue any stretching. Best of luck!

Are there options for the exercises on hands and knees, I have artificial knees and cannot get on my hands and knees. Thank you
Seated leaning on elbows on table corner, and standing leaning on a counter top are two good alternatives.
