Ooooooh yeeeeah..........Thanks
Not sure how to lift my head like You describe in the first exercise.
Thank you so much 🙏🏽🥰
Very true
It works thanks..how about hips? Thank you
You got it. Hip exercise video coming soon!
thank you.
I always get dizzy when I do the pencil tracking at the neurologist but they always say it's all good because I'm still tracking with my eyes. Meanwhile my whole head and face start to get tingly and my eyes feel blurry and heavy. Any recommendations on who I should see to get this looked into eg a physio, ent, orthopaedic surgeon etc? Idk what to do anymore. I'm in constant pain and spent 3 years almost completely bed bound which made it worse. I haven't been bed bound for the past five years but my body has suffered and I find my neck is super sensitive to any movement.
Bed rest will definitely weaken your neck which is number one problem in a case of cervicogenic dizziness. I would seek out a physio that is experienced in Gwen Jull style neck exercises. Standing and walking w/ good posture frequently will start to restore your neck strength/stability. Best of luck and I hope this helped!
@@physiotipswithmarrow5836 thank you for the guidance!
This therapist really gets it 💯‼️ Genius!
Seemed to help, thanks!
Glad to hear that!

I have cervical kyphosis!! I've been feeling like everything has been moving the whole time for the past 5 months!! I feel it when im laying down, sitting, standing still, and walking. My head feels heavy, and i can't concentrate. Is this also part of Cervical Kyphosis?
Plz more videos with exercise
Extremely great exercise, thank you for sharing, I have dizziness and imbalance all the time I’m seventy six years old and use a hearing aid can you advise me how to get rid of this imbalance.

This muscle is constantly tight on me! I also get tension headaches and dizziness 😵💫
Will try this but have to tell you the background music was TORTURE!
Thank you so much for this informative video. I have had neck issues and dizziness for years
Hi, hopefully my question will reach you. So, for years im trying to figure out what I have. For over 16 years I had a blurred vision every now and then (neuro doctor said: its possible that its migraine without headache). My neck always cracks, and feels unstable. Lots of times its tensed. For also 16 years I experiences lower back pains with pain leading to my left glutes and leg (till the knee). Since the last half year I experience dizzyness (not that I feel unstable, but more in the eye) and also continiously right eye lid twitching, sometimes twiching or tintling feeling around the lips of the mouth and nose area. Also my rigt hand feels a bit reumatic, but I think its not reumatic/artritis to be honest. At this moment I feel very dizzy and my eye is twitching. The eye doctor (opticien) could not detect anything in the eye. Next month I have a MRI of the brain sceduled. Doctors here in the Neterhlands are not very cooperative. It feels like they are all on their own island and they absolutely do not work together with other specialist. I was hoping, you could give me a direction from where to go. So much appreciated! Freddie
Thank you , do I apply any kind of pressure with the towel?
Thanks for all. But I can't complete the manœuvre because the vertigo is so violent that I stand up quickly.
What is the best way to fix this? My feeling is that my neck muscles are weakened. Is strengthening the area the way out? Thank you for your videos, they are very informative and helpful!
I've been going to PT and doing the exercises at home as well. My therapist has been very good in figuring out what I can and can't do and making a program to help me. I'm a dog groomer, work has been awful. Now I put my grooming table up high so I am not as bent over. I'm only doing one or two dogs a day because it still triggers the problem and I feel I will faint. My neck is gradually getting stronger and I am better than I was.
9:26 is it normal to feel just a bit discomfort or should I like feel nothing at all while doing that test?
This is so helpful. Dizziness started a few weeks ago, and has rarely gone away. First episode scared me. I went to emerg and doctor there dismissed it as BPPV, saying it was the result of "too many birthdays". Advised me to do certain manoevers to correct it. They did not help at all. When I was at physio for an unrelated matter, she suggested it might be this. She did some initial testing and could not find anything that suggested BPPV. Your compare and contrast was spot on! There is no way I have BPPV. Physios rock! They know this stuff better than anyone!
Great story! Thanks for sharing!
"I've been grappling with a series of questions for the past decade. It all began with a surge of anxiety that led me through numerous tests, eventually landing me on Xanax for relief. While it did the job, it meant relying on daily doses or opting for Ziperlex. Accompanying the anxiety was a persistent bout of dizziness and a painfully stiff neck. Seeking independence from medication, I explored alternative routes: Chiropractic care became a beacon of hope, offering respite through subtle adjustments and focused breathing techniques rather than the stereotypical cracking. Regular exercise routines entered the picture, providing a stable foundation for my well-being. For a while, these measures held the symptoms at bay. However, recent weeks have seen a resurgence. Perhaps stress-induced insomnia and the demands of parenting are exacerbating factors. Consulting a new chiropractor in my relocated setting shed light on a crucial contributor: forward posture. So, what holds more sway over my condition: the physical manifestation of forward posture or the lingering specter of anxiety? My sleep patterns reveal a chaotic dance between restful nights and restless ones, with sporadic pill usage. Strangely, longer sleep spells result in mornings marred by neck stiffness and dizzy spells. Sharing this experience here, hoping for insights and solidarity from fellow viewers." no history of injury
Thank you so much for this do you have a recommendation for a neck pillow for sleep? Or a good position?
Do you have a recommendation for a good pillow for cervicogenic dizziness? Or best sleep position?
Tank you!
Beautiful and its for all ages. Nothing to fear attempting from the comfort of your home.Thank you ❤😊
What’s the towel doing , your ar3nt exactly pulling it tight , so why the towel
So helpful and I know that I do some of the things that can aggravate my neck.
OK - I have had a serious C5 denegeration issue since my teens due to a very serious accident. I just did the first exercise, and the pain came instantly into that area of my neck. I had to stop immediately. I suffer from severe vestibular migraines - hence my visit here. Your opinion on whats going on for me with the sudden pain? I avoid pain in that area like the plague as I have been immobile (zero movement of neck) for up to a month when I get a serious twinge. Tx.
I would get with a good orthopedic manual therapist in your neck of the woods. The right exercises (you may need lots of modifications) and manual therapy could help tremendously. Best of luck!
@@physiotipswithmarrow5836 good advice - thank you very much. All the best...
The only thing that helped my neck muscle spasms was a muscle relaxer Flexall
What happens if you have symptoms on both sides?
You may be facing a problem other than BPPV.
If you are not looking at the camera that is active, you are not looking at us.

A certified vestibular rehab therapist is trained to rule out the neck contribution before initiating vestibular rehab and knows to refer out to orthopedic PT to fix the neck. It may be that the PTs who have initiated vestibular PT have taken one course but not certified.
Thanks for watching. That would be the ideal situation. Unfortunately, I can't even remember how many patients that I have treated that were given the wrong PT and it only made them worse (and cost tons of $). Thanks for your comment!
I'm sending this to my Mother. Hi, Mom.
I did this and startedoverheating and sweating profusely, is that normal? Im not sure if it helped after, maybe a bit. Scary
thank you doctor, after watching several complex exercise videos, nothing works, but one simple first exercise itself i felt that relief. great work doctor , thank you so much
The clarity, precision and exactness of your description of the problem is not only commendable but astounding.....i wish the doctors here at my place were like that. You and this video are beyond amazing. Thankyou very much for doing this video.
Thanks for your kind words and I hope the information was helpful. Best wishes!
No music please!
Are there options for the exercises on hands and knees, I have artificial knees and cannot get on my hands and knees. Thank you
Seated leaning on elbows on table corner, and standing leaning on a counter top are two good alternatives.
I have been dealign with headache and dizziness all week and just learned I was doing everything that I was not supposed to do. Thank you so much for this video. First time this week I feel hopeful.🙏🏽
Glad the info helped and best of luck!
Just went through the symptoms you described. Chiropractor and PT help me. Thanks for the exercises!
Thanks for watching and best of luck!
I have degenerative disc disease c5 c6 and c7 and Spondylosis, i get bad virtigo and feel nauseas
Thank you.....
Thanks for watching!
I've been dealing with dizziness since late January. As I watched this video, I realized that I am guilty of doing every item listed here, especially from September through December. Awareness is key. Thank you for creating this video, and thank you for the suggestions/videos to help combat cervical vertigo. Here's to strengthening and healing!
Can you do a video about what a daily routine would look like for exercises? Appreciate all your prior videos! Just don’t know which ones to do every day for relief and healing
New video coming out tomorrow night @ 6:30 pm with 4 simple exercises that are done daily.
@@physiotipswithmarrow5836 great news! Thank you 🙏
This is good for neck with spondoliosy too?
yes. If they are pain free...go for it!
If i'm not sure its cervicogenic dizziness, it is okay to still do the neck exercises anyway? I had an ENT verify it's not an inner ear disorder.
Exercises should be fine as long as they don't aggravate your pain or dizziness. Worth giving it a try most times!
