Great trip I enjoyed your videos to the maximum I went out after the rally several years ago and it was hot still the heat is a killer! What tires do you run on your Indians? How many miles can you get with them these Harleys go thru tires it seams like! Keep the rubber on the down side.
@@markfrank2454 thanks for watching! We run Metzeler Cruisetec on both bikes - super sticky and get 10-15k out of them (probably mostly straight flat roads in FL helps). Only trouble I had on the Challenger was under inflation causing cupping but run them 2-4psi over recommended and been good since! I did just change a rear tire on my Harley Low Rider S after 7,000 miles but do slide that one out a bit 😂
@@markfrank2454 That is another long answer 😂. As I was starting to do longer trips I was trading my Road King 114 for a fixed fairing bike. At the time the Challenger for me was hands down the best package - engine, brakes, frame, suspension out of the box would have probably cost me $10-$15k to get the Road Glide to the Challenger level for how I like a bike to perform and handle and then I had to spend the rest on bars, seat, pipes, tuning etc! Challenger with the liquid cooled motor, mono shock, brembos, aluminum sub frame, etc a game changer!
@@dropbearmoto thank you for the reply back I traded up to a M8 Street glide I am not felling it. I have always had twin cams and the sound is not to my taste. I am old and the suspension is a big deal now! Thanks for you answers have a Great day
Well done on final thoughts of 5,300 miles, 12 states and 17 days! Extra tips for that next adventure on two wheels! Thanks friends!
Thanks! Glad you could be a part of it!
Thank you for the great 😢 videos!

@@dropbearmoto Thanks for the reply back one other question then what reason is it a touring Indian and not a Harley? Thanks again!
