BO1s mp5 made more sense when reloading while theres still ammo because the next round is already chambered so theres no need to lock the bolt to the rear wasting that bullet. unlike cold war, the character wastes precious time locking the bolt to the rear for no reason
There's an actual reason: As cited by Polenar Tactical and Garand Thumb, it's actually difficult to fit a fully loaded MP5 magazine into the gun due to spring tension pushing against the closed bolt. It actually requires extra force to get the mag to lock in on a closed bolt with a full mag. One way around it is having a magazine with a round or two less or shoving a full mag in with a decent amount of force to ensure a reliable lock (which for some, may require more than one try).

I think we can all agree that mw19 has the best sounding guns by far

Even old black op did full Auto Aug
Why cold war didn't use G11 as burst rifle instead aug?
Why Magnum from Cold War sounds like HAMMER from Crysis 2-3?
De qualquer forma, Black ops de 2010 continua foda
Black ops 2020 be like : let's add BASS on those sounds . Like why ?
Bro they lack bass entirely thats the problem...
@@Echelon111999 I think he was being sarcastic, but yeah fucking weak ass sounds for the reloads
@@Daniel-wy2kx no I wasn't sarcastic. I think they all sound to bassy. It doesn't sound like that at the range haha
@@pierro281279 nah that’s bo4
@@Echelon111999 bass makes the guns sound like air cannons. in mw2019 put audio on bass boost and high boost. high makes the gunfire sound like exploding bullets. with bass it souns like its a decompressing oxigen tube
Cold war already has kinda bad weapon sounds but the ak is the worst
Nothing can compete with the original ❤️❤️❤️
oh? not even mw 2019?
Yo mad dog what about MW 2019, it's miles better
You should’ve used the KS-72 for black ops instead of the stakeout. It’s the same gun in that case.
The Stakeout is the Ithaca 37.The Haeur 77 is the Ithaca 37 too.The KS-23 is completely different.
Pls do BO cold war comparison with Rising Storm 2 next
Using the charging handle on the m16 and m4 irks me
i prefer the original sound fx but the gun models loon better now
I don’t care if the BO1 guns didn’t use their actual sounds, I still wish they kept them.
The CW versions just don’t sound or feel anywhere near as powerful as BO1’s did.
Same goes for the sound effects for explosions.
Imo bo1 sounds the same on pretty much every gun, the commando sounds the same as the m16, commando, ak47, stoner63, the shotguns has the same sound, the explosions have the same sound, the rpk and the hk21 sound the same. But hey, you can like different things , personally I like Cold War reloads since they are smooth and not stiff like bo1
@@elongatedborzoi1160 I’m not sure which video you’ve listened to, because I am sure that none of the CW weapons sound anything like their BO1 versions. Last I checked BO1’s weapons didn’t sound like cheap air soft guns.
Same with the explosions. Completely different sound effects being used.
But maybe my ears are broken, idk.
@@gametron5917 yeah like I said I’m probably just hearing things differently.
Di... did they just reused the same RPG-7 animation?
You forgot the M60 😐
@@jeremiaslenzbauer6975 BO1 had China Lake, no M79. So..........
@@FerrariF1Seb05Fan the amount of people who called the m79 the China lake when it was revealed nearly gave me an aneurism
@@FerrariF1Seb05Fan you're right, my mistake
@@huangchanyou7465 nope. China Lake is a pump grenade launcher, which you can load to the tube 3+1 grenades. M79 is just a single tube grenade launcher, where you only insert a grenade to the barrel. They're different.
@@FerrariF1Seb05Fan you right its my fault,i totally forget that China lake is pump grenade Launcher.
Both the revolver's motion is really cool isnt it?
You want a description of what the characters you play as sound like? You're a solider, but naked, Lubed up with noise canceling grease. The only noises you make, are walking and gun related.
What i really miss is the rattling/giggling heard whenever reloading anything. These sound effects aren't coming from the weapon, it's the character.
Keys jingeling, fabric touching fabric, magazines scrapping against each other. That's what it sounds like.
I wish the other call of duties had something similar, and that also goes for the mass majority of fps games.
It frustrates me endlessly whenever it sounds like the new magazine just appears into the characters hand, like he didn't have to grab it from a pouch. No noise, nothing. That goes for the rest of the noise a human makes to.
I like how both six shooter reloads are equally as lazy
bo1 shows more than cold war bruh
@@oksomynameisjeff4212 cold war dips the gun below line of sight even with higher fov and bo1 has it in screen but doesn't show it correctly
I feel like technology hasn't evolved much since the early 2010s.
did they really not animate the Spas-12 on an empty reload to pump it to load a shell into the chamber? or since its in Semi-auto mode have the charging handle lock back so it makes sense as to how a shell got into the chamber?
Old cod sounds were more pleasant to hear
Anyone else realize there's no shell ejection for the shotgun in Cold War?
I got pissed when I first saw that, poor animations
The gallo/spaz you can see the shell get ejected and the hauer/stakeout eject from where you put the shells in.
@@exziedits I was referring to the Stake out shotgun, as the inspection animation shows you looking at the supposed ejection port when one is non existent
@DoctaTofen I found that out the hard way. Thanks
It's more logical and fair to Compare Cold War to the Original Black Ops than it is to compare to Modern Warfare. That said Treyarch and the other studios really dropped the ball and didn't go that extra step to be more accurate to how these weapons function irl. You could try to make the excuse 'this isn't MW they're going for semi-realism' but when the Models are this updated and sounds it's a slap in the Face to Gun Enthusiasts when they slack off when it comes to details.
You forgot the m60 lmg
How are animations from 10 years ago on par with animations from 8 months ago
I swear to god, everytime the Black Ops guys moves it makes as much noise as a waste collector carrying about 13 bags of residential waste.
Why the aug in cold war is a three round burst while bo1 is fully auto.
Select Fire. But for in game purposes, just balancing reasons.
I just want to know why your character in cold war racks the charging handle of the m4 and m16 instead of pressing the god dam button when reloading. Like no one does that ever.
For me it's normal
Also it's easier ecause right handed and left handed people is still able to charge it due to having 2 notch on the handle
@@dodiandhika6684 I get it if your a left handed shooter it's all right handed in this so
The reloads in BO1 sound awful because of the equipment jiggling about loudly in every single reload...
I always thought that made them sound better and more realistic
Why is the AUG in cold war is burst while black ops1 is fully auto?
That ticked me off too
atleast in black ops 1 they actually pull the charging handle for the spas
honestly, cold wars sniper rifles could’ve been so much more. mw2019 absolutely nailed the sounds and i think bocw could have learnt a lot from it
