Hello, I flew from a Schengen zone so there was no border control when I landed. Generally, from security checks to boarding would take you 10-15 minutes depending on traffic on the day.
If someone is left off at departures, can they enter and turn left to meet a private transfer at the Arrivals Hall? It seems like it can be done as it's on one level? Especially if they're left off near Ryan Air or Easy jet check in? Thanks for any help.
Hey, Yes, u saw partly right! Both the check-in and the arrival halls are on the same floor level so you can simply move from one side to the other! However the actual departure, security checks are upstairs.
Hey! Yes you can check in online; most airlines allow check-ins about 30hours before departure. At the airport, normally 4-5 hours before departure from the not so busy airports.
It depends on which country you’re traveling from. If you’re coming from the European Economic Area, you’ll not be subjected to immigration scrutiny. From the UK and other parts of the world, you’ll definitely have to go through immigration checks.

I got such a surprise to discover that this airport was 3 hours away from my cruise port. I was not prepared for that. 😆
At around 3:11 If you listen carefully you can hear the second engine shutting down as the yellow electric hydraulic pump is activated

There are rental outlets like Sixt and Europcar right at the arrival hall.
